What truly elevated the visit was the service. The entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience very enjoyable from start to finish. It’s rare to encounter staff that are so genuinely focused on ensuring guests have a great time.
For our order, we chose two Indian classics, and both were exceptional. The Apollo fish was perfectly spiced and cooked, serving as an absolutely delicious appetizer. The main course, the Hyderabadi dum biryani, was aromatic, flavorful, and perfectly layered—truly authentic and satisfying.
Overall, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was top-notch. It was a very pleasant experience, and we will definitely be coming back soon to try more of the menu!
We tried the Kara Punugu and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy and full of flavor. Their tea is also excellent and definitely worth trying.
What really stands out is the service. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming, and they consistently suggest great options from the menu. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the food they serve.
If you’re looking for tasty Indian street food with a warm and comfortable outdoor setup, Desi Express is definitely worth a visit.
The taste was authentic and satisfying… definitely going back
I started with the butter chicken appetizers and samosas. The chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right level of spice. The samosas were crispy on the outside with a flavorful, well-seasoned filling inside, paired beautifully with fresh chutneys.
The real highlight, however, was the chicken and mutton biryani. The chicken biryani was aromatic and tender, with long, perfectly cooked grains of rice layered with bold spices. The mutton biryani was exceptional — the meat was juicy, fall-apart tender, and deeply infused with authentic flavors that tasted slow-cooked to perfection.
Portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and the service was friendly and efficient even during peak hours. If you’re craving bold, authentic Indian flavors on the go, this food truck is absolutely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.
On our second visit, I was genuinely impressed. It was freezing cold that night, yet the staff was working hard, and the food had improved so much. Since then, I’ve gone back several times whenever possible, and I’ve never had a bad experience.
We’ve tried Punugulu, Mirchi Bajji, Chicken 65, Sattibabu Chicken Pulao (a bit oily but very flavorful), chicken noodles, and Cashew Chicken Pakodi, Chicken Fried Rice. Everything has consistently tasted fresh and authentic.
I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for authentic South Indian–style food. I do wish they were available on DoorDash or UberEats but I understand the location makes that difficult. Overall, a great place worth visiting.
The setup has a cozy, casual vibe ; perfect for an evening out with friends or family. Everything we tried was super fresh and full of flavor.
We ordered the Puri Chicken, Raju gari goat Pulao, and noodles, and all three dishes hit the mark. The puris were light and crisp, the chicken was well-spiced, and the pulao had that perfect homestyle touch with rich aroma and taste. The noodles were also cooked just right and packed with flavor.
Portion sizes were generous, and you can really tell they put effort into keeping the food authentic and tasty. Definitely a great little food truck to visit if you’re craving comforting, street-style Indian food!
The food was fresh, flavorful, and not oily, which is rare for fried rice.
Very good quantity for the price — great value.
You can tell they care about how they cook.
Highly recommend this food truck.
