We are visiting from Chicago, IL and found this amazing Caribbean sandwich shop! The service was absolutely fantastic, and the food was excellent. We had the Cuban sandwich and the roast pork sandwich — both were incredibly delicious and full of flavor. If you’re in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!

I stopped at the Caribbean Sandwich Shop for lunch this week, and I’m so glad I did! I’m not from the area, but the owners made me feel right at home — they’re incredibly kind and welcoming. I ordered a steak sandwich on Cuban bread, and it was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and made right on the spot. While chatting, I mentioned I had just moved from the city where there were lots of Dominican restaurants, and how happy I was to find their place. The husband was so thoughtful — he even made me a fresh mini mangú just because he heard how much I missed that kind of food. That small act of kindness really touched me. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality and authentic food in one place. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by — you’ll leave full and smiling!!!

I had the Cuban sandwich, my daughter went for a veggie sandwich, and my son had waffles, bacon, and eggs with a mango juice that tasted like it was freshly squeezed. First time here while looking for a good sandwich spot, and hands down this is the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in Tampa. The pork was cooked to perfection juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount so you don’t leave disappointed. The sandwich size was perfect and honestly big enough to share.
The staff was extremely pleasant and engaging, which made the experience even better. I don’t drink coffee myself, but my husband did and he was very happy with his choice. We’ll definitely be back!

This was close to the office and they have a Cubano on the menu so this is where I brought three colleagues for lunch today in the rental car. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess at the counter who took orders and payment, then we grabbed a seat in the corner.
About 20 minutes later, sandwiches started arriving. I had ordered a Cubano, no customizations, and it was tasty but clearly their own design rather than traditional. I can’t say I’ve ever had one with onions or lettuce. But the flavor was there and it was fresh. I enjoyed it.
This small shop in a strip mall was easy and convenient and inexpensive. A good choice for lunch!

I’ve been coming to this location since the previous owner, and I’m so happy I came back. My boyfriend and I now stop here for breakfast whenever we’re in town.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a Cuban sandwich or eggs, ham, and cheese they’re always delicious. The staff truly makes you feel at home, and the service is just as great as the food.

Caribbean Sandwich Shop has always been a Local go to for me; ever since my father “El Toxico”first took me for lunch many years back. “Great people and amazing food” would be an understatement. They instantly made us feel at home treating us like family who had just reconnected after some time. The atmosphere and customer service have a very home like feeling, always clean and smelling like fresh home cooked meals. I recommend the bacon or ham egg and cheese with a cafe con leche which is immaculate and always on point.
