Food was garbage!! They must delete all the bad reviews cause there’s no way anything is higher than a 1 star!! I should if known just by looking at the food how bad it was going to be!! Food was sitting out dry the rice had hard crust from sitting out not being changed the chicken was so sticky from the sauce being dried up from sitting all day! No flavor what’s so ever on anything!! The fried stuff was so gross all you could taste was deep fried unchanged oil!!!! We all got one plate and didn’t go for seconds! We complained to the waiters it was terrible! No help what’s so ever!!! Then we check our bill it was $80 are you kidding me!!! We were charged $16.15 for 4 people two in which were adults and two kids 11 and 14 and were charged $10.65 for an 8yr old
What a freaking rip off!! We did not even finish our one plate it was so disgusting!! The owner and staff did not want to work with us at all!! We sat and pleaded w them to at least charge us $10 for the other two kids instead of an adult charge and they didn’t care not one bit!! Terrible owners!! terrible staff!! terrible food!! terrible experience!! Please save your self from this catastrophe!! Know one should have to go trough this and mind you their buffet had nothing to it!but a couple options!! So gross!! Btw this lady that works there was so nasty to us she was not manager or owner but was chiming in on the side w a nasty attitude!!

If your looking for a 90s feel sit down experience with delicious fresh food look no further than China King. Hard to believe that the best Chinese place in Southeast Michigan is here in the center of the thumb but it is. The place is clean and welcoming. The service is excellent even when they are filled to capacity. You will never feel ignored or unwanted. The servers are extremely friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and delicious. It will make you feel like your at home eating a home meal with all your family. If your ever in Bad Axe this this place a try.

We had never eaten here before. We are big Chinese food eaters and moved to the area about a year ago. Long story short, this was some of the best Almond Chicken I have ever eaten. My wife had Sesame Chicken and thought it was excellent.
The won ton soup is very good as well and the egg roll, rice, and the service were very good. Our waitress was very good and pleasant and the prices are more than reasonable.
If you are ever in Bad Axe you better try this place you will be amazed and glad you did.

Wah, what a great dinner after being on the water all day. NOT. we arrived 25 after 5pm and didn’t get our food until 6:30. We were given our egg rolls, then 25 minutes later she came back with more egg rolls and stated “she wasn’t bringing them back or going to charge us for them” after I stated we already had ours. Building was ridiculously hot. Sat us down and never took our drink order till she did our food that we waited over and hour for, with nothing to drink considering Fountain soda tasted like it got brewed out of the toilet. Our soup was noodles with chunks of chicken in hot water. Rest rooms were probably the best thing out of the whole building.

Honestly, if you get take out combination meal its constantly this same mushroom sauce in every dish with carrots n celery even with the gen tso.. mushrooms in gen tso? No thankyou its suppose to be spicy sweet with red peppers the spicy stuff is the same mushroom sauce with chili powder no actual peppers only different dishes ive found is sesame chicken, sweet n sour, lo mein everything else ive tried is the same mushroom sauce. ive been disappointed every time i go here about 10x finally decided to take the time to write a review.

I purchased the sweet and sour chicken it was delicious as well as the egg roll and sauce they served with them.. I also got the beef lo mein it was ok.. the crab ragoons were very good as well..

I wish they had a place like this in my town! Was in Bad Axe for work and decided to try China King out for lunch and ended up here every day while I was in town. The prices are very fair especially for the quality of food. Each dish I tried was hot and fresh like it just came off the stove. The meat is tender and delicious and not the typical processed food that is common to most Chinese restaurants. All the veggies also tasted freshly cooked and definitely not reheated. The size of the lunch plates was more than I could eat, each delivered with a soup and spring roll. When I’m in town again I’ll be looking forward to another visit!
