We’ve been coming here for a few years now. One of very few traditional American Chinese restaurants in the area with classic cuisines.
Three star dishes, soups, and anything off of wok are some good eats.
Dining hall staff provides excellent services as well.

I am not kidding when I say this. I have posted less than 10 Reviews of restaurants. I take my reviews seriously. This is hands-down one of the best Chinese takeout restaurants I’ve ever experienced. The orange chicken is unbelievably good quality chicken. And the Mongolian beef is mind blowing. We have Ordered take out four times from here now. Each time we keep expecting the quality to drop. But it never does. It only increases. This is an unbelievably consistently good restaurant

Just moved into town and love me some Chinese. Got some hot and sour soup, 4 outta 5. Beef with black bean sauce, 5 outta 5. The guy at the counter was very polite and led me to the lunch menu instead of the full price I was prepared for. Genuinely a good experience for me. I will be back and I hope y’all try it too.

Third time we ordered and they got it wrong. Ordered shrimp spring rolls they gave us vegetable spring rolls. Ordered fried rice with a Mongolian beef combo and got white rice. And where’s the crab in my crab rangoon?? They used to be good idk if they got new owners but it’s gotten worse.

If I could rate no star I would! We paid $26+ for half duck and it arrived so small portion it was boneless which we did not order boneless. No rice came with it either!
Every order that supposed to have rice did not had at all ! Calamari was also small portion. $17+ of calamari that’s all it was (see picture posted) and it look big portion because the bottom was all onions and lettuce. No rice came with it either.
All food did not taste good and it was all blunt. Do not waste your money!

Stopped in to get a lunch to go. I have been looking for a go to Chinese restaurant locally and now I can stop looking!
Service was excellent and my food was great.
I had Fresh Mango Chicken with fried rice and egg roll with hot and sour soup. It was super. The hot and sour soup was some of the best I have had.
If you haven’t tried Hong Kong Star you need to come by..

We came to eat in tonight with two other couples. We had fantastic service and great food and love this place. I said that it would be my new Go to for Chinese and it is.
So we had hot and sour soup and egg drop soup, moo goo gai pan, chicken and Chinese eggplant, shrimp and lobster sauce, cashew chicken, in the house special the fried rice. All the dinners were wonderful as were the egg rolls and the chicken wings and the crab rangoon that you get is accompaniments to the dinner. Overall a great visit. You need to come try this one

So happy we found this place on the recommendation of friends after striking out in Cartersville last Christmas. This place brought back the nostalgia of an old-school Chinese restaurant, something that’s missing in our culture today where everything is meant to be fast and cheap… not so here. I was shocked at the size of the Orange Chicken and General Tso’s chicken. They weren’t 90% bread and 10% chicken… each piece of chicken was a large piece of white meat almost the size of half a breast of chicken. And for lunch portions, they were huge!
The lunch prices were ridiculously low for the amount of food we got. For a little over $100 bucks we got a Bo-Bo platter (pu pu platter), another order of steak on a stick, and six massive lunch entrees. Very impressed with the quality and quantity of food as well as the service. We will be back.

We have been having trouble finding a good chinese restaurant until now. Our food was fantastic !! I got the Combination Orange Chicken that came with fried rice (at no extra charge, say what?) It also cane with soup (your choice), an eggroll and your choice of a chicken wing or a crab rangoon, I chose the chicken wing. My husband got the Pepper Steak and it also came with fried rice at no extra charge. Now lets about taste, My Egg Drop soup was very good, I just needed to add a smidge of salt, the fried noodles were very good. The Orange Chicken was very tasty, you could actually taste the orange in it. The eggroll was feesy made and piping hot when I got it and they arent afraid to season their eggrolls because with that and the duck sauce it was OMG! . The chicken wings were very good, hot and crispy and so good dipped in the duck sauce. My husband said his Pepper Steak had good flavor and the steak was very tender and the fried rice was plenitful on both of our plates. Our server was wonderful, she was very attentive to us and made sure we wanted for nothing, so 5 stars alone for the service. We will definitely be back so I can try other dishes from there, oh I can hardly wait!!

For those of us that grew up going to Chinese Restaurants here in the US during the 80s – that is what this place is. It’s like stepping back in time and for me that was fabulous. It was a nostalgic trip back to a simpler time. The food was decent, the staff very attentive, and the atmosphere was a different time. For me that was a perfect combo. We will be bringing the family here soon.

I’m a delivery driver & I’m in this restaurant location to pick up food for clients ALL THE TIME. I’ve been doing this for over 3 years. But I’m sick & tired of the way Billy treats drivers, so I’ve finally decided to write this review. Today, Billy YELLED AT ME IN FRONT OF ANOTHER DRIVER AND THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT SIMPLY FOR LOOKING AT A RECEIPT WHILE HE WAS ON THE PHONE.
What the hell?!
Just about every time I come in here to pick up food, Billy gives me passive-aggressive behavior and attitude. I’m just trying to do my job. I *know* he recognizes me, but he still always treats me like a thief – again, if I *was* stealing food, I would not still be employed over 3 years later. I’m so sick of it & how he goes out of his way to try to boss around & humiliate drivers nearly every time I come in to pick up food.
He’s rude & it’s unacceptable.
