Honest review. The food was ready fast and the people working there are very friendly. The General Tso’s and sesame chicken tasted good! There was a lot of extra breading on the chicken, which I’m not a huge fan of. Also, the “chow mein” is simply just vegetables, no noodles! I was very disappointed. Also the salad dressing for the house salad is not your typical ginger dressing but it’s tasty.

Most food had a greasy, oily consistency to it. The sticky white rice, for example, was not dry and sticky. It seemed like it had oil. And the lo mein noodles were good, just oily.
It’s not terrible, I just wish it didn’t have that consistency. Kids liked it.

I recommend the sushi! I got it to go and it was very fresh and packaged well. We also got the veggie fried rice and it was very good.

Have never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. Flavors are great and portions are large. The orange chicken is my favorite. I’m not a sushi fan but what I’ve had there has been great. It is BYOB and I do believe there is a corking fee.

Got the General Tso’s and the Happy Trio both tagged really good to me. The tso’s chicken was nice and crisp and had some of the best flavor for any general tso’s I’ve had.
The dessert was super disappointing
And there was some communication issues between the server and the other staff.
I would recommend this place but just be patient with the staff and if they get something wrong please correct them but be kind about it as it was most likely a mistake and not something ill intentioned.

Shanghai-Tokyo has excellent, high-quality Salmon Sashimi, and very tasty, spicy, and thick Hunan Beef. The Bubble Tea is the best in the area. I personally recommend either the Coconut or Mango Bubble Tea.
The only downside is the service can be described as ‘curt’ and ‘abrupt’ and we felt rushed even though the restaurant was not busy.
If you can look past the service, the food was excellent.

First and only time ordering via door dash and the food made me violently throw up 4 hours later. Didn’t taste so good to begin with. Very disappointing.

Decent dish but the rice was dry and the waiter I’ve had there twice in the past few months has lacked hospitality.. The bubble tea I ordered basically came out with the check and overall for the money I would suggest going elsewhere. Unfortunately this area lacks oriental options however this will be my last time visiting shanghai-Tokyo.

Ordered the fantastic shrimp last night which used to be our absolute favorite meal. So disappointed with it this time. The breading on the shrimp had a thick white coating underneath with the outside overdone n not crispy and it could use more lettuce and the sauce they put on it.The egg roll was also overdone.

Great food selection including a huge appetizer menu
They also have a Sushi bar and menu
If you are eating in for Dinner make a reservation, they get very busy in the evening
