Small business getting hit with crazy comments that could get fixed by just talking to the woman on the register. If I believe buyer user didn’t check for expression.
Attention, Meat lovers!! Really fresh meat.
So far my experience amazing friendly ladies and good fresh food.
Small place but little by little they are getting it together.
Thank you ladies for all the hard work. Not one person slacked everyone worked together. Men work just as hard.
They have tacos for $1.99 cheaper than most places around area.
May, I say real mexican food.

Ok so I definitely should have read reviews before I wasted both time and money on this place AGAIN. About a year ago we ordered doordash. We spent well over $60 on dinner for the family. Husband ordered the guiso rojo. Huge mistake…literally was served what they had at the very bottom of the pot, all fat. My little’s quesadilla plate was missing, just an all around mess. Posted a review/pics, owner apologized and asked that we give them another chance to make it right. We hadn’t because honestly we work too hard for our money to be taking chances like that. But tonight, decided we would try again. Ordered 4 gorditas, 2 beef 2 guiso, all 4 with cheese. Picked up dinner, get home, only 2 gorditas. I call and they tell me they will review the cameras. Ok, whatever…why would I waste time and energy by going back for bs but did anyway. This girl here, looks at me dead in my face and tells me she put all 4 in my bag and I’m lying. I nearly lost it but then another employee steps in and says the owner is there, she will speak to him. She comes back and asks me if I would like my refund or order replaced. I don’t want y’all to reluctantly make me more food after you called me a liar to my face! I asked for my full refund. I literally spent $18 on 2 gorditas and about 10 chiles guajillo. She says they will only refund me my missing items. You know what, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on ME. Just thought I’d share. Tried supporting small business but I have def learned my lesson with these people. Oh also, NO CHEESE on the two I DID get and was charged for. STAY AWAY!!! posted a pic of my son’s guiso gorditas…don’t be fooled by the seemingly meat chunks, ALL FAT. My son picked at the one on the left before getting the ick with all the meatless fat.

DO NOT BUY FOOD OF ANY KIND FROM HERE.
My husband and I love that there’s a Mexican store down the street to conveniently pick up items we may have ran out of , we’ve been coming here since it’s been under new ownership. Maybe about a year ago my husband bought some chorizo from here. He got sick from his stomach after eating it but didn’t think anything of it until he was about to open another package and saw the expiration date was A FEW MONTHS BACK. Ok so he threw it out and we continued to shop there, mostly small items. Next time he went to buy a cheese and brought it home and guess what , IT WAS EXPIRED !! So before eating it he took it back to the store and told them to exchange it , they had to throw out AT LEAST 5 other ones before finding one that wasn’t expired. From there on before purchasing anything from that store he checked the expiration date and when I tell you there’s been a handful of times SINCE those two times that he has to tell employees to throw stuff away because they’re expired. According to him employees usually brush it off and chuckle to the fact that he has them throw expired food away. Okay so now, we purchased a GALLON jug of olive oil about 4 months ago. I’ve been using it everyday since. Today when I opened the bottle I noticed the cap looked like it might be growing mold, I thought that’s weird , I looked inside (it’s almost empty) and noticed some type of debris on the bottom. Immediately checked the expiration date and guess what EXPIRED SINCE JANUARY 30TH 2024!!!!!!! Are you kidding me ?! It’s literally almost gone , been feeding my two toddlers food cooked from this oil everyday!
NEVER AGAIN WILL WE SHOP HERE. AND I RECOMMEND YOU DONT EITHER. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! Negligence!!
Pictures included of expiration date, bottle cap, and the debris at the bottom of the oil bottle.

My co-working mention this meat market years ago and I made a view trips. So this is a very late post and review. i don’t think they had the review section even at the time yet. But glad i stopped in all that time ago. Definitely will return.
The photos are from the few times i’ve visited.

I was skeptical about the location of this place since it’s in between a warehouse buildings and I was surprised when I walked in it was like I was in a meat market in Mexico. The food was great and customer service was amazing.

This restaurant is the worst kind. Good food, but can’t get out of their own way. Ordered a couple times now. Something is always missing or cold or wrong and it’s so frustrating because the fajita chicken tacos are wonderful.

The tacos are to die for! Highly recommend this spot – whether you’re looking for groceries or just a quick authentic bite.

More than a few runs with this place one was about a year ago we purchased meat got home to pull it out out of the bag only to find out that it was rotten meat a few weeks later got up there and told him about it. The lady manager did explain how we could’ve brought it back up there and they would’ve changed it but we threw it away. It was already too late now our second issue as of Today was that we entered the store intending on buying leg quarters for my son‘s birthday dinner ultimately having a cookout and as we approach the meat section in the back corner, I saw a huge yellow sign by the weight machine stating butcher special $.79 a pound Lake quarters so I took 6 pounds Everything was fine. We checked the meat due to our last time it being rotten. Everything seemed fun. She handed us a bag. Come to find out, she had mistakenly charged us full price which was $1.79 per pound for like quarters. I proceed to explain to her that there is a large yellow sign in my face that says butcher special for $.79 she says that we will not honor that it’s old no longer in use, I told them I wanted to speak to a manager. A Guy came from the back to hear what was the situation and said that that was no longer in use come to find out he was not the manager so I went to the cashier and I said I want the manager now then another guy came out the back and proceeded to tell me he was the manager, and I told him the situation again And he said no I will not honor that , I told Him that there was a lady manager when we were here with the prior problem I would like to speak to her. He said that he is there for her, so I told him to get on the phone with her and change his price. So I waited, When he was done with his phone conversation, he proceeded to walk towards the Cashier, And I walked towards him, showing him on the phone not only is it’s illegal for you to show and display a price for a certain item and not honor the price which is against consumer protection laws it is also illegal to price gouge because nowhere should a small container of guacamole with onions and tomatoes. Cost $11.21. He then proceeded to fix the price For the meat as it was Hell to get there, and complete utter nonsense when there was a posted price they did not want to honor. I will absolutely not recommend this to anyone with the high prices, rotten meat and just absolute rude staff who doesn’t even speak English. I told them if they were not going to honor that price they needed to take the sign down on the way out, I would also recommend getting a lot of signatures in for me to shut this place down because price gouging is illegal and it’s not Properly doing the first and first out procedures of fresh foods nor pantry items much less posting prices that are Not seen having to ask for a price is probably the reason they are getting away with selling $11.21 small containers of guacamole and rotten meat. The health department needs to check this place out seriously especially after reading the Reviews before mine was posted are all the exact same issue something does have to be done about it.
