Solo trip. Ordered a pork roll egg and cheese and fries. Coffee and water. I sat at the counter, the place only has 10ish tables. I was given a check within a few minutes of ordering however it took 20+ mins to get my food. I knew that because the time was on the check. The sandwich was very good.

Stopped by Colonial Diner on our way to Sea Bright this morning. We had the waffle, omelette, and sunny side up eggs — everything tasted great, freshly made and flavorful. The place is on the smaller side, so it was quite packed, and there was a bit of lingering food odor inside, which was the only downside. Parking was manageable, and the service was quick and efficient. Overall, a solid breakfast stop with good food!

I think I’ve found a place where I can comfortably stop by every time I pass through here. It’s a very friendly place where you can see everything and experience service without limits. My history with Colonial is through a delivery service. Their meals are delicious and portions are generous.
My only problem was with the DD service..I ordered 2 meals yesterday and only received one! It wasn’t just like they forget the butter..it was an entire meal. How does that happen? Who is supposed to check? The order was in a plastic bag that was just tied, not sealed or stapled so was it taken out of the bag? Unfortunately no one will say and the DD delivery person would not respond to my texts even when I asked in 2 languages. DD refunded my money but that’s not the point. Maybe this restaurant has a different delivery option..

Wonderful little hole in wall diner offering that local hometown vibe. The staff is warm friendly and attentive! The food is served hot with satisfying portions. Seating is limited but that’s what adds to it charm that it’s a small place.

The service was Excellent. I got a Taylor Ham and Egg Sandwich and it was $6.90 plus cheesecwas $1.40 more. Coffee was $3.10 great and unlimited. Most th8ngs were between $8 to $13 for breakfast.

We tried this diner for the first time and were very happy with our experience. Is not fancy place but is a classic NJ diner. The place was clean and good atmosphere. The food was really good. We enjoyed the Golden Brown Pancakes, The Gravy and Biscuits and Farmer’s omelette. Great service and good prices. A lot of people come here which is a good side that this a a great business. They accept card which is great, because some places are cash only. Parking is easy you can either park on the big parking lot around the corner or on the street.

Got me a chicken bacon ranch wrap from this little joint today. Phenomenal food, phenomenal atmosphere. With the diner recently shut down nearby, this is the spot to take it’s place. Tommy is an amazing guy, and the staff is full of amazing people with amazing service. Definitely check this place out
