I got the chicken rice bowl (your choice of glaze) and funnel stick fries. Chicken bowl had a delicious sweet & spicy glaze with plenty of chicken on top with a couple pickles; however, the rice at the bottom was literally only half an inch thick… The funnel cake fries were sweet with a light dust of powdered sigar and had a crisp bite but weren’t as crunchy as fair fresh funnel cake. Menu was quite extensive but can get pricey if you have a big family. Seating was a handful of tables along with side but nothing too special. Plenty of parking, however it can be difficult to leave the parking lot with only one exit coming straight into all the nearby walmart traffic.

The food at Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings is absolutely delicious! The chicken is flavorful and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice. While it’s not a full-service restaurant, the quality of the food makes up for it. One small suggestion would be to keep the tables and floors a bit cleaner for an even better dining experience. Overall, highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great hot chicken!

I stopped by Hangry Joe’s in Stafford and was seriously impressed! I had the leg and thigh combo and also tried their chicken sando — both were absolutely amazing. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The spice level was just right, and the sandwich had that perfect crunch with every bite.
Staff was friendly and service was quick. You can really tell they care about quality. If you’re craving great chicken, this place is a must-try. Definitely coming back soon!

I’ve been coming to this Hangry Joe’s for the past six months, and every single visit has been amazing. The staff always treats me exceptionally well. This is truly the best location in the DMV area, I drive 20 miles and pass two other stores in Woodbridge just to come here. They’re always improving and the food is consistently great. Highly recommend!

The places are rapidly popping up all over the place and I tried one a couple of years ago and when I recently noticed this location open, I wanted to try this location too. I went on a weekday and it was empty inside, so I was quickly greeted and ordered my food. I tried their wings and their sando combo. The wings done in their smokey BBQ sauce and the heat level on the sandwich was medium.
Their medium is probably more of a medium/hot, definitely has a nice kick to it! I’ll try their hot next time. The smokey BBQ sauce was really tasty and the wings weren’t messy, but perfectly seasoned, crispy (not over-fried) and very meaty and tasty! Definitely some of the best wings I’ve had in the area!
The sandwich was a mess! The heel on the brioche bun was soaked when I immediately got the sandwich and I couldn’t pick up the sandwich to hold it, as my fingers pressed straight thru the soggy heel – yuck! I took a few bits, but ultimately had to fork & knife it to finish eating it. Flavors were really good, with the slaw and their sauce on top. Waffle fries were tasty, but not piping hot (barely warm, in fact) at all.
Overall, nice visit, definitely better than the last one I visited.

I recently visited Hangry Joe’s Crispy Chicken, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. They have fixed most of the problems people have talked about such as food being over/under cooked and the frozen mac n cheese. Overall id give it 5 stars because the chicken was good, waffle fries are nice and perfectly cooked, and the service was amazing. My only complaint is that there was a crack in the door but that didnt effect the experience

Stopped in on a whim, and it was the best decision. I got a medium spicy sandwich, and it was so good. Juicy, flavorful, and spicy. Great slaw, amazing fries, perfect sauce for the flavor profiles. All around great. Give it a shot if you are nearby!
