Very disappointed—likely because we had high expectations—but the food was a huge letdown. It felt like a joke compared to the beautiful setting and great location. This place really needs a major turnaround or serious improvement in the kitchen. Such a shame, because it has the potential to be so much better.

Despite really enjoying my chicken protein bowl, I just can’t recommend the food for the price. If you’re someone who knows you’re gonna pay because it’s a vacation, then disregard that entirely and know it’s all good food.
Vacations or not, the food is pricey, but the drinks are exorbitantly expensive. $15 for a mixed drink and over $8 for a single beer is price gouging at its finest.
If you’re still interested, then I can tell you this is a good spot. The crew is kind and moves quick and the food really was delicious. I’d recommend making the trek to a nearby grocery store and keeping stuff in your room if you wanna cut down on your stay like a pro.
Bonus points to the bar crew. We didn’t know they were closing a bit after 9 PM but they still made us drinks. Really great people working here and I hope my gratuity went to them and not the resort. They worked their tails off for us and we enjoyed our meals!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years, and it used to have great food and service. Recently, however, the quality of the flavors was terrible. I ordered a grouper bowl, and my grouper was dry and tasteless. The vegetables were so bad that I wouldn’t even feed them to my dog. We waited a very long time for our drinks, and when our food arrived, we didn’t have any silverware. After waiting for a while, we actually had to go get it ourselves. Opal Properties maintains a high standard for its food and services, so I’m shocked by how bad this particular location is. The place has an absolutely amazing view, but I will absolutely not be coming back here.

Had a great day today here and had no complaints! Marco was taking care of us and he was phenomenal recommending great drinks and food. Also left my keys behind and realized a couple hours later and Marco went through the effort to make sure I got them back. Overall great service!!

Great appetizers and food. Had the best fries and burger here. Family vacations are made better when you find a fun and delicious place to end the day. Sunset was off the charts. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

Overall, what a great beach-side restaurant! Cocktails were great, atmosphere and view unbeatable. My fried grouper sandwich was stellar, but my wife’s Caesar Salad with grilled Grouper was just decent; the grilled grouper lacked flavor and was overdone. Otherwise, great spot!

Stopped by for lunch prior to heading to our next destination and we really enjoyed it. Wife and I shared the grouper nuggets along with the grilled chicken club. Everything was good and we also enjoyed the drinks! Reviewers seem to complain about the price, however this is located on the beach (world class) with fantastic views. I have no problem paying the “location” tax as it’s absolutely beautiful. Our server I believe his name was Patrick was awesome and really added to the experience in a positive way. I made a point to inform the manager as well, please take the time to do that when you are the beneficiary of great service!

The cocktails were loaded at this place. Decent amount of alcohol to the mix. The views on the outside deck to the beach are pleasant. A fire pit to lounge around and have drinks by. Pleasant place to the enjoy the sunset by.

SO flippin good, every single time! The sandpearl just does it all right, but people can eat here and not be a guest as well… which is highly recommend you do either way. The grouper nuggets are THE BEST here! Even my kids devour them. They are fresh, not fishy, perfectly cooked and served with the most delicious sauce. The grouper salad is also a must. It’s light, refreshing and just perfect. You can not go wrong. My little guy got the pb&j kids meal which is served with apples and graham crackers, and my husband got the grouper roll (not pictured) which he throughly enjoyed before I could snap a photo. All of the drinks are amazing and service is always 10/10 around the clock.
Their hummus plate, wings and quesadillas are all delicious as well!
