I had the red white and blueberry special meal for Veterans Day. It’s a newer restaurant or has been remodeled recently. The food came out quickly and was hot and tasted good. I got ice water and it was totally free. I always visit IHOP for breakfast on Veterans Day.

We’ve been going here over the last year with a group of 12 or more. They always accommodate our group at one large table. Our server, Christina is the best. She has been our waitress every time. Every order is correct and served to the right person. Plenty of hot coffee. She rocks it. All of the staff is friendly and polite.

Phillip is the best when it comes to creating a welcoming environment and going the extra mile. He has never been my server but always makes a point to check on us and crack some jokes and just improve the dinning experience. I shared that I always wanted to go to Mount Everest and without missing a beat Phillip offers to be my Sherpa and guide me to the top. It was a life changing experience and I know I could never have done it without Phillip and his knowledge of the mountain and his calm and collected demeanor. He saved my life multiple times on that mountain and I will forever be in his debt. Thank you Phillip.

We went at a slow time when there were only 4 other tables. All 6 of the waiters/waitresses stand in the other room talking and nobody waited on us. I finally waved at one of the waitresses and she pointed at a young man. The young man never came to the table. I finally had to get up and get my own waiter. This other room that I would call the gossip and waiters on their phone room is a problem for this iHop. The manager should tell them that the customer is the #1 priority. I felt like I was low priority.

My wife and I travel to and from Abilene, Texas for our jobs. We never miss an opportunity to visit our IHOP family and are always grateful for the service we receive from each member. Phillip is our personal hero here but his ability to include other teammates in the recognition of great treatment, really makes this place special!!

Takes forever to be seated and some people smell like cigarettes. Also seen a waitress scuff when she looked at what she was tipped after the people who were trying to pay waited at least 10 min at the counter. Seat dirty where I was seated. Had a good experience in Lockhart and was debating on making a ihop stop weekly but this place has me second guessing that decision. Ik for sure I’m never coming to this one again for sure. I get it was 2am but the store was empty and waited 10 mins while staff conversated about some drama in the kitchen.

Who ever the manager is that thought having 2 servers only in Halloween was a good idea deserves to be investigated. Because wth these poor employees don’t have help and support that they need. The management should be ashamed. Food was sitting in the warmer for over an hour and no was there to help run it out. Do better. I also paid pre than I should’ve because the manager was too busy.
