Halibut House in Niagara Falls is the best location for fish and chips! The batter is light and crispy, the chips are perfect, the tartar sauce is delicious, the dining area is beautiful and the staff are friendly and attentive. It was the first time the three of us went there, and we were already impressed with how clean it is, that’s including the washrooms too. Our order was served to our table within just a few minutes (three Halibut Fish & Chips). Everything was fantastic, and we’d like to give our hugest thanks to Jen for making it that way Service from Jen was outstanding! She even took photos for us (we didn’t ask, SHE offered!) Because of all that, and the quality, we’ll be coming back for sure! BTW, we’re from Buffalo, NY, so us saying that says a lot

I really enjoyed the food, and the portion sizes were reasonable. However, I think there could be a bit more variety in the takeout menu. Overall, I would be open to trying this restaurant again.

Came here for the first time during a weekend trip to Niagara. The food we ordered was delicious; everything is made to order so it was all hot and fresh. They have fish and chips specials on the weekdays, and also offer a breakfast menu until 2pm. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. And the restaurant itself was bright and clean. Will definitely be back again soon!

Absolutely love coming here to dine in and have fish and chips. The service is fairly quick. The food is hot and fresh. The atmosphere is very nice, well lit and clean. Can’t go wrong ordering anything off the menu.
We got the grilled salmon with a salad, sole and chips special ($9.99) and the haddock and chips. Everything with great and I love that they give you a bottle of tartar sauce on every table. Very tasty and convenient!

Nice place for when you get your fish and chips cravings. The batter was light and crispy and seasoned well. The fish was hot, flakey and moist. The frys were good and crispy and the onion rings were excellent. The fish chowder was just okay in my book it was lacking in the flavor department but a hearty bowl with a good bunch of fish in it. We all liked it and would go back. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

The bread was fresh and eggs cooked to perfection. The blueberry pancakes were also perfect!

Finally, a decent fish & chips place in Niagara Falls! Nice and clean because it’s new. I hope they maintain it. This is our first dine-in after this whole pandemic craze and we absolutely had a positive experience. Staff (Kassandra & Ryan) were very friendly and welcoming although Ryan forgot the table napkins. 🙂 Food is great (fish battered to perfection and salad was fresh), great portion and reasonable price. Will recommend!
