They seemed to be permanently closed now.

Ilike this place for the last 2 years.
One of the tastiest half chicken and fried rice. Also one of the best shrimp rolls. The staff is always friendly and the place is relatively clean. Parking is good too. It’s cash only though so know that.

I ordered chicken and broccoli, sesame chicken, both plates were spoiled ,they said they would give me the sesame chicken and a ten dollar credit on my next order I said ok but I never got the order so I asked for my $25 dollars refund they said no , I’m going to file a complaint with the attorney general, their food sucks, I will never order from them again. they sent me food that had been sitting out all day or from the night before and wanted to get rid of it .

Have gone to buy a few times since the new owners. It’s terrible! I went there yesterday brought 2 orders of chicken wings n half a chicken with the pork fried no onions.
The chicken looked old n rice dry very dark n a few pieces of pork.
My husband n I try eating it. My dog got a little piece of chicken n within 10 minutes thew up her dog food n the chicken. Threw the food out n never going there again. I miss the previous owners very much hope they’re doing well.

The food is way different. Maybe new cooks? Pork fry rice terrible. Hardly any pork, and just yellow rice. I can do that.
Pork fry rice comes with pork, peas pieces of egg and other veggies. That’s the original pork fry rice. The other foods were dry and not tasty at all. Not worth it.

I was skeptical when the business was bought out by a new owner who had been there for two decades.

I have to admit the new restaurant has enormous portions, bigger then most restaurants, the quality of the ingredients is fantastic and it’s a great value overall.

I rarely leave restaurant reviews, but the new ownership and restaurant is deserving of a review.

Please, read this before you make another purchase!

This is not an exaggeration.

For years, I was a clueless patron of L & T Chinese Kitchen. Service was always with a smile. The food seemed fine to me; nothing spectacular, just your average Chinese fast food.

As chance would have it, I ventured into the location one day to place an order. While standing there waiting for my order to be filled, a worker gathering the trash caught my attention. When it involved food, I pay close attention. When the worker removed the trash bag from the receptacle, he took it towards the open back door (My thought was that the dumpster was back there). However, the trash bag never made it to the back door, but it did make it into deep basin sink near the stove. Now, my curiosity was piqued! I watched like a hawk sizing up his prey.

The cook then began taking items out of the bag, with a ladle and placing them in the shallow part of the sink, and these weren’t cans and bottles either ( My heart felt like it dropped!) This was the same part of the sink where I would see the cook reach to get food to place in the wok, on the stove. Another worker noticed me watching and said something to the cook. The cook then walked away from the sink. Both of them kept glancing at me. The woman at the front counter heard them talking in Chinese, and she started intermittently glancing at me too. The delivery guy did the same thing after walking in and hearing what had happened. I believe that they all knew that that was my last time there; ever. They just weren’t sure as to what I would do next.

Time will not change what had transpired there. They lost my trust completely.

Buyer beware!!!

This is a violation of the health code. These people should have been out of business; as customers could become violently sick or worse, because of this disgusting practice! They care only about profitability; however, they care nothing about your health.

Think food poisoning; think people with illnesses not finishing their meal at this location. The illness is yours now!

They should be driven out of the community!

This is not an exaggeration!

Ignore this if you want; but, you have been warned.

I walked in here on a Friday night at 7PM..the whole staff was sitting down doing nothing..(the cook was in the back sitting on a milk crate reading his cell phone and the two people at the front counter were looking bored)..it seemed a little odd that they weren’t busy making food on a Friday night, no phone ringing, etc. Now I know why. I ordered a large sweet and sour chicken and large pork fried rice to go. I got home and attempted to eat dinner but the food was absolutely terrible. The chicken was like rubber, way over cooked and greasy. I tried to eat it because I was starving but I couldn’t. I threw the whole thing right in the garbage. Waste of $30.

Love this place! Have been coming here as a kid. Very friendly and the food is amazing. There chicken and broccoli and crab Rangoon is amazing. They are also very quick. Although they have limited seating they make you feel at home.

This is defiantly the best Chinese in town. Yonkers finest. I always eat out but sometimes eat it there (pre-Covid) now just take out. Shrimp and broccoli is phenomenal. Chicken wings and vegetable fried rice is spectacular. Coming from the Bronx I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to find great fast Chinese food. Great prices and awesome service. Mr. Lee is the place to be!

Place USED TO BE GOOD. New owners have ruined the food. Food now tastes old and is not good at all. Portions are big but food is not tasty at all. Place needs to return to its former way of crooking – new people running it have made it terrible.
