Recently went here with my family!
The quality of fish here is at the level of an omakase!
Staff and head chef were extremely friendly, proud to ask how the dishes were.
The place is clean and looks like new – there’s even a hallway of the chef’s hand drawn art when heading to the bathroom.

Every roll was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were welcoming and attentive.
In the end they offered me plum wine but I asked for ice cream and they accommodated.
I’ll definitely be coming back!

I crave this place at least once a week. Their sushi rolls are incredibly delicious, and the service is always so friendly. Having tried so many sushi places, I honestly think this is the best in the Bay Area.

I was lucky enough to be able to attend their opening and I must say I was astounded. Ive been going to their other location for 16 years and absolutely love their new one. Its beautifully designed, the food is delicious, and the service has always been amazing. Each dish is designed and crafted with care. Also a fun fact! — the art on the walls to the bathroom was all done by the owner!

I only recommend 2 sushi restaurants to people and this is the 2nd!!! The first is their original location in Oakland on Park Boulevard.

They have an amazing selection of fish that is always high quality. I recommend the double sake to anyone looking for a unique experience but I love and have tried everything on their menu!

Great new sushi spot in Alameda. Sushi was fresh to perfection, would recommend the fantasy, passion, samurai, ichiban rolls. The hostess was so nice and gave us free mochi!

Review for its grand opening after years of closure and change of ownership?

First thing first… Seriously for the owner(s). Your reception(system) is totally messed up. Many customers come in do not know what is going on? You don’t have a dedicated person to arrange people to wait or be seat. I don’t see an efficiency system to take care large amount of influx….. Maybe you need to re-train your staff for doing it, or yourself? Totally mess up. Especially your entrance is tiny, people do not really mind to wait outside, but you got to have a system.

Sashimi is fresh, at least. The UFO i don’t taste anything….lol… really!?

Overall, my first visit I can only rate you 3 stars.
I would also suggest your menu includes pictures or you post the pictures online.?

Absolutely delicious sushi. As someone with gluten allergy, they were very accommodating and helpful in suggesting options and substitutions. Sushi was very fresh and very flavorful and it was a nice touch to end the meal with plum wine. Great local joint.

The food and service was excellent! My friend and I stopped in and had a few sushi rolls, with hot sake. Our waitress checked on us frequently and was very friendly, nice quiet atmosphere too!

Beef udon was delicious. The beef was so tender and juicy, the best beef udon we have around here in Alameda.

Unagi Don was ok. Some parts of the unagi was chewy instead of tender so that wasn’t as good. But the parts that were tender, which was about 70%, was umami delicious. It was good and reminded me of the original restaurant at this location – Kamakura.

The combination bento box of gyoza, tonkatsu and teriyaki salmon was good. The only thing that didn’t taste as good was the teriyaki salmon – overly cooked and overly dressed with teriyaki sauce.

We recently visited Broadway Sushi and had an amazing experience! Their signature rolls were a highlight—especially the white tuna signature, which was absolutely delicious. We also tried the sashimi combo, and the pieces were impressively large and fresh. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. On top of that, the location is perfect, and the ambiance really added to the whole vibe. Can’t wait to come back!
