We were sitted immediately. Asked what we would like to drink and told the day specials however the waitress didn’t write anything down. After sitting there for 15 minutes, a group of people came in and were sitted had their order taken immediately. They were asked what kind of fries, they wanted with their entree, that was our first clue something was wrong. 5 minutes later a different waitress asked us if our drinks order was taken, I replied yes, she went to go check on it and she not our original waitress brought us out our drinks. Short while after the group that was sitted after us had received their food. We waited another 15 minutes total time of 35 minutes and decided to pay for our drinks and leave. We spoke to the original waitress and she said she was still waiting on our food. To which we replied they came after us and she said it must have got mixed up with theirs. She didn’t ever come and check on us. Even though she weave the drinks, it was a kind suggester the lack of explanation or owning up to the actual mistake of NOT writing down the order is unacceptable.

This is a very outdated diner type restaurant. It has an Elvis theme, with plenty of old Elvis photos and 50’s type decorations. Definitely needs an overhaul.
I had the steak fingers meal….steak good, gravy good, real mashed potatoes, good carrots, and cheap Texas toast.
Service OK, easy parking.

I ordered the pick 3 sampler. On DoorDash, you can only select 1 item for the pick 3. You don’t have the option to select all 3. I assumed, with the title and description, I would receive all 3. I only got the one I picked. Again, on the app, picking 3 is NOT an option. I called to see if this could be corrected, and was told that I should have picked 3. I was told I could not bring the order back to have it corrected. I was told that it was my error, and would not be fixed. I explained several times that the app is NOT set up in a way that would allow me to make the selection I wanted. It was clear the manager did not believe me or did not care. 0 stars, will never return.

We arrived shortly after the opened for the day. We ordered from the menu with extra gravy. Some of our food was still cold. We were never checked on again until it was time for the check.

Always have to show love for the “hole in the wall” places. Blue moon is a hidden gem here in Ada. If you are from out of town, dont hesitate to stop in. The food is hot, good, and the service is great. I couldn’t resist a few bites before I took the picture!
