Awesome little local spot around the corner. Had breakfast here a couple times. Definitely recommend, I haven’t been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered.
Staff are friendly and professional, food comes out fairly quick, prices are reasonable. We’ll probably go back.

Best deal in town for breakfast. Not even Leo’s can beat their prices. These guys have some of the best prices, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out quick. It’s a small restaurant and when you walk in, you feel like you know everybody even if you don’t know anybody at all.

I live around the corner and came in this morning for 4 breakfasts. They look like they don’t even have 2 eggs each and barely and hash browns. Paid $30 with the tip. Skimpy serving size I won’t be back here again. And they only give you grape jelly instead of atleast mixing a couple strawberry jelly’s because they want to save Pennie’s instead of having happy customers.

Al n wife Dona in the house today, got Marc on the flattop. New menu looks fantastic, prices went up a little. The cost of Eggs Bread and Meats have tripled in price, so they have to survive. Still lowest prices Downriver just stop complaining, if you shop at a grocery store you might know this. Had fantastic Greek Chicken Feta Fries, Chili Special and Gyro with Salad. Fast friendly delicious food always for many decades. Hot New Greek Breakfast plate WOWED Thanks Al for this fantastic creation. Gyro Meat, Eggs topped with Feta Cheese , Greens topped with Feta Cheese n Warm Pita Bread a instant addiction. Totally Wowed going back for another soon . She had a Double Kielbasa Breakfast plate and Delicious Beef Barley Soup cooked low n slow for about three hours for maximum flavor OMG. Two of the very best cooks Downriver Al & Mark so friendly to all the customers. My first time at this restaurant. I came in for breakfast, and the menu was full of choices. The waitress (“The waitress”) although they did have a help wanted sign up, this lady was taking care of at least 10 tables, was very nice and did not give me the feeling of being rushed in any way. The food was served up relatively quickly and was very good. I thought that the portions were on the smaller side, definitely enough to fill you up though. I have to say that the booth seats were kinda uncomfortable. The restaurant while looking a little dated was quite clean. And I must add the coffee was really good. All in all a good breakfast stop.

Went here with my husband to grab a quick lunch. This place smells horrible like rotten egg water and sewer. The only reason we stayed is because you can see the grill and watch your food being made. There were so many gnats and even a nest behind a cooler. The cooler was sitting next to our booth and every one of the staff that opened it would slam it shut and would move our whole table. Our waitress was polite and we tipped well over 20%. The food was ok, we had a hamburger, chicken fingers and a BLT. We wont be returning, due to bugs and smell but I hope they clean this place up it has alot of potential to be a nice cozy spot.

They have new hours are open until 8 pm. Stopped in for dinner tonight the pepper steak was really good. 1 of my favorite places for breakfast but now will be a go to for dinner as well.
