Justin and our server Rhianna took excellent care of us last Friday night, a very busy time for the restaurant. We celebrated my mom’s birthday with family that flew into town from Chicago. The food and wine were exceptional. The staff took care of our every need. I just can’t thank you all enough. What a pleasure to have this gem in my neighborhood. I just left the restaurant without my pizza I ordered an hour ago. My order#198 for pickup at 7:19pm today February 5th was not made. They offered to make another while I wait. Planned my evening around the pizza. I left, going to taco bell instead. Not a good experience. I will go to Dominoes in the future. They have better systems to ensure my pizza is done on time.

This Asaro’s location is nestled away in a strip mall well off the beaten path of Sarasota. But, do not let its location fool you. This pizza restaurant is well deserving of this five-star review. The inside is quaint, and while there is not a lot of indoor seating, it does boast multiple outdoor seating options to cater to those who wish to sit and enjoy an evening breeze. I would imagine by the number of people who came in for take-out orders they do a lot of business via online pickups. For sit-down dining, we found our server pleasant, and she was able to answer all of our questions. This being our first time visiting, we had quite a few. Our server relayed how the sauce is made to order with each dinner, such as the spaghetti my wife ordered. Now, my wife loves sauce and finds that many other Italian or pizza places, they never provide enough to fully make the meal enjoyable. Asaro’s is on the opposite of that spectrum as her meal came with so much sauce we had to ask if all meals came with as much. The answer was, of course, yes. The sauce had a nice flavor to it with just enough meat. It also came with a piece of bread and a house salad with their own vinaigrette dressing. I ordered the 10″ personal pizza with pepperoni, and it was outstanding. The crust had just the right amount of crunch while the amount of pepperoni on top was spot on. To top it off, we also ordered a side of their garlic knots. The garlic knots are cooked fresh throughout the day and were terrific. There are many pizza places in the area I like, and Asaro’s definitely has earned its place as one of them. We will most certainly be returning many times in the future.

We had a large group(18) after church Sunday. The waitress was mad at us the whole time we were there. Told us more than one time this was a bad ideal. We tried many times to brighten her day. Enough on her attitude. We all had different plates. No one had a good meal.

I’ve been to this location roughly 4 times purchased stuffed shells each time. They were always very good. They don’t give you very much for your money, but they were good so I went in a couple nights ago. Place was extremely busy. There was no manager on duty, my stuffed shells were very tough hard to chew so I asked for a remake instead of a refund and the chef argued with us and stated since I had ate one, he was only gonna give me two shells instead of 4 and when I got them, they were burnt. He burnt them in the sauce, so I threw them away. I contacted the manager the Owner and the Venice location on Sunday and he refused to take my call because he was busy with customers. This place has very poor management very overpriced and they do nothing to make it right with you. I threw my food away and had to go somewhere else to eat cost me $22.

I finally stopped in here for lunch. What an amazing little Pizzeria. I enjoyed the Burrata Antipasto with a side of sausage. This was an amazing lunch and Keto friendly! The Pizzas look amazing – will bring the family back and give the entire menu a try! Great service, food, and ambiance. Pleasantly surprised for a remote strip mall way out east of the interstate!

Great food, took a lil while but worth the wait. We dined in and it was pleasant and they had a bunch of comfy booths free. They have a pretty extensive menu. Waiters/waitresses were kind and friendly. Dude behind the counter was quick to notice new customers and offer help.

Not authentic Italian food, the flavours were not there. It seems like everything was made from frozen and for the price you pay should be much better quality. You want to have a good pizza go to Made in Italy in Venice, Florida than you will have good food

Asaro’s is a hidden gem on the corner of Lorraine and Bee Ridge. They are fast, friendly and most importantly consistent! There is not much around here so it’s nice to know you’ll get a delicious, hot meal every time you call. We fell in love with the rigatoni alla vodka but everything is good. Pizza is great and has a nice crust too. I get meatballs for my daughter and she loves them. Thank you to the crew at Asaro’s for always being on point even on busy nights!
