Came in about an hour before closing on a Saturday night. My wife and I each ordered a bowl. Her salmon bowl was great. My chicken bowl was also very good. The food came out very fast and we were in and out of there within 30-40 minutes. Our was very quiet for a Saturday night around 7pm, but I’m assuming that’s because they close at 8pm and there are several other restaurants in the neighborhood.

A very cozy and charming bar-café where you can enjoy desserts and interesting cocktails. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, everything is clean, and there are very comfortable sofas and tables where you can sit back and relax. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious treats, and spotless cleanliness. Highly recommended — definitely worth a visit.

This place was awesome! We stopped in for lunch and really enjoy ourselves. The food options were thoughtful and healthy. Something for everyone. Even the kids! My boo got the Tendies and they were delicious. I enjoyed a Free Bird Bowl. Lots of places to sit inside and outside. Enough parking too!

I’ve been to the SouthEnd location & so was excited to try this one. Such a cute vibe! While it was busy, we didn’t wait long at the counter to order & easily found a table. The service was good, friendly & fast. I had the truffle fries & the Summer Salmon bowl, but were delicious! Would be great for a quick lunch!

This is a cute neighborhood outpost of the Salted Melon “chain” (there are now 3 locations, I think?) it’s nice because it has parking. There is inside and outside seating. You order at the counter and then get a number for your table. Whatever finish is on the tables makes it sticky, so it doesn’t necessarily feel clean, even though you JUST watched someone clean the table. The number of choices is manageable. We went for brunch, so there were a handful of choices. My strawberry fields forever iced coffee was amazing. I could probably drink those non stop. The bandito (breakfast) burrito was good. It was egg heavy, but I liked that it included tater tots. The avocado toast was pretty plain and seemed expensive for what you got. The notorious BEC was pretty standard. The plating was very basic for all- nothing fancy. The silverware was nice and heavy. The water:ice machine was kind of cool – you could pick just ice, just water, or both! The decor was cute inside and the people working there were nice. Our orders came out sporadically, even though we ordered at the same time. They did a brisk business with lots of people inside and out enjoying a meal. Overall, I would go again- it’s convenient and quick, but very basic.

My wife and I visited this new location of Salted Melon and enjoyed it very much. Great food, location, staff was friendly, very clean here and the decor was very nice inside. This was a former Hubee Dee’s chicken restaurant and they turned it very nice inside here.
This salted melon is different from the Southend location so there’s not a market inside like you would see at Southend, but you have Harris Teeter right down the road so it’s not a big deal for a market here.
The food was amazing along with the iced lattes we got! We definitely enjoyed this location a lot and will return back for sure.
As an FYI, parking does get super busy here so be aware of that when you come at prime time lunch or breakfast time. Make sure you also download their app so you can earn reward points! It definitely will help you in the long run!

Tried this recently when I found that Panera down the street had closed, and it did not disappoint. Great option for lunch! Would be 5-stars except it’s a bit pricey. Very quick service!
