Absolutely fabulous! First time visit today on Thanksgiving. Expectations were high and they easily exceeded them. We had turkey and fried chicken which were delicious. Sides were excellent, especially the homemade biscuits. Our server, Sophia, was wonderful. Thankful that we had a reservation as we were taken immediately to our table. Highest of recommendations! Can’t wait for next visit.

We decided to try out this place for Christmas Eve Dinner. We had several different palates to serve with a party of 8. We loved the service, the food, and the quiet dining festive atmosphere. I have dined on The Back Porch and loved it. This family style dining is definitely a step above the rest.

My husband and I had an early dinner at Diamond Mineral Springs and it was delicious! They serve family style and the amount of food is huge. I had the fried chicken, dark meat, and it came with two things and three legs. He had the pork roast and dressing. I totally forgot to take photos of the food. We got quite the send off from the friendliest cat ever.

If you ever happen to be near Pocahontas Illinois and are in search of a great place to eat I highly recommend Diamond Mineral Springs, its a little off the beaten path but worth the drive! Expect to pay between 15 – 30 dollars a plate. Down home style cooking and unlimited sides!

Apart from being a historic location, the family-style meals are fantastic. Fries fish and chicken are my favorites. And the selection of pies is quite impressive. Only reason for 4/5 is the out of place poker machines. Looses the historical impact of the place.
