Food was delicious! We loved our chef. Great sushi as well. Will definitely be back again.

These sushi were really bad, just awful. And it’s not only me who said that — four other people said the same thing. I don’t understand what’s wrong with them. First, they have no salt at all, like none, but soy sauce helps with that. Still, the taste… it’s like they were kept in the fridge too long. They’re not fresh, more like slightly old store-bought sushi. I don’t recommend them. We threw away almost half of the sushi. They look much tastier in the photos.

The food was really delicious. We mostly had hibachi but everything tasted great. We didn’t have a birthday there but almost every other table did. Besides 1 confusion with our order, everything was very good.

Had one of the most memorable dinners here celebrating my best friends birthday with her. Have never been to a hibachi place as I am normally too nervous to do any sort of “show” type dinners, but this was so nice and the chef was not pressuring of any tricks like I was afraid of them doing. He was very very professional and loved watching the tricks and cooking. I hope to come here to celebrate my best friends birthday again one day when im back in town. Thanks Maguro!

I’ve been coming here for several years and have always enjoyed the food and the hibachi chefs — the service has typically been very good, if not excellent. However, my last three visits have been disappointing, and after this most recent experience, I felt it necessary to share.

Our hibachi chef (Ari) rushed through the entire meal, put in the bare minimum effort with the performance, and barely seasoned the food. I’ve been here enough times to know what to expect, and while the entertainment is a nice touch, I’m usually happy just enjoying the food and time with the group. Unfortunately, even the cooking itself fell short this time.

What really ruined the experience was when he attempted to split the steak I ordered with another guest at the table and claimed, “We split steaks now.” When I questioned whether we were also paying half the price, he went silent. I asked him to give the entire steak to the other guest and to bring me the one I ordered — which he eventually did — but he purposely chose the smallest steak he could find, which felt spiteful and unprofessional.

It’s frustrating because the rest of the staff here is usually wonderful and works hard to ensure guests have a great meal. We bring large groups — 20–30 people — several times each year and always look forward to returning. After this experience, though, I can confidently say this will be my last visit. It’s disappointing to see behavior like this tolerated, especially when loyal customers are the reason any restaurant remains in business.

They lost a big one today.

I usually don’t write reviews about food, but after reading so many positive reviews, I feel compelled to share our experience unfortunately, it was not the same. The sushi was very dry, comparable to gas-station sushi, and the rice was soggy. When I asked for additional items, the waitress was rude, which made the overall experience even more disappointing. To make matters worse, despite the poor service and food quality, the bill was very expensive, and a 20% gratuity was automatically added without any notice or choice. Being forced to pay a gratuity on top of rude service felt extremely unprofessional. Overall, the experience did not match the price or the reputation reflected in the reviews.

Solid Hibachi and sushi place. Went in for hibachi on a Thursday night and took us about an hour and 20 mins before the cook came out. The hibachi and appetizers were good and on the whole it was a positive experience. Four stars here

We go every year for my son’s birthday and it’s always good. Over the past several years, the hibachi chefs have been less interactive. For example, this time, they did not throw pieces of broccoli into the air for the customers to catch. The food is good and the service prompt. Scallops, filet mignon and fried rice are great. Do not pay the extra charge for noodles, they are too salty.

First visit for a late lunch. Yummy

We had the bento boxes . DELICIOUS

One Bento box was teriyaki chicken, the other was tempura vegetable. Both boxes included the white rice , California rolls and shumai, along with salad and Miso soup.

The service was polite and attentive, Hong was our server and took great care of us.

Definitely a recommendation to lunch and I look forward to dinner ️ soon.
