We use sour dough to make our crust and bread fresh daily! No preservatives! Our sauce is made in house with a secret recipe and the best ingredients. We shred fresh mozzarella with a secret twist daily. We don’t hold back on our toppings and we love our fans like family! It all started in Gridley CA in 1997 locally famous but sadly closed in 2013. A chance meeting with the founder and a retired veteran led to the rebirth of Sylvio’s Pizzeria and Deli in Yuba City CA in 2016. Still going strong!

To hear how a person could talk to anyone this way, let alone someone who will never stick up for himself made me ill. It was difficult to enjoy my meal. I was fighting back tears thinking how bad this person must need this job to endure each moment with this insecure abuser. Im not thin skinned. Thats what makes this so bad. To me kids need to toughen up. But this was straight abuse.
I will always call ahead to make sure the owner is never there when I go. I can’t afford to buy food I’m too disgusted to finish. The employees are what makes this place a wonderful experience, but the owner made me literally cry.
I understand business is hard. But this was mommy dearest. It made him feel big to come down on someone who was forced to take it because they need the job so badly.
Red sauce is so flavorful, white sauce is creamy and packed with flavor as well.
10/10 recommend Sylvio’s, forever our favorite pizza place!
We ordered two hotdogs for the kids and they came with potato salad and a pickle. They were good sized and pretty cheap. Definitely good for the price.
I had a Philly Cheese Steak. While I wasn’t thrilled they didnt have provolone cheese, I was surprised at how good it smelled. It came quickly and hot. The tasye was pretty good. I wont have to go to Roseville to get a good philly anymore. Same sides as the kiddos.
My husband had the combo calzone. Would He was very happy with how filled and crispy it was. I think it was the first time I have ever seen him eat a calzone without hot sauce.
It was about $30 before tip. I cant wait to go there to actually try the pizza. Several pick up pizzas while we were there.
Downsides? Weird show on the Tvs and because of the cute little dinosaur 50¢ machines my kids conned me out of $4.
Thanks for a fun afternoon Sylvio’s.
Very disappointed
