After a disappointing experience at Brookwood Farms in CLT, Dickie’s BBQ pit at Terminal C, was exactly the “hit the spot” meal I was looking for.

I ordered the 3-meat plate with brisket, pulled pork, and BBQ chicken. The portions were generous, justifying the price.

The Sides: Mac n Cheese was delicious (definitely not Kraft!), but the BBQ beans were the unexpected rising star of the plate. Great value, great food and the service was a massive step up from my last layover experience at CLT.

I asked for a sandwich without cheese and pickles and I got this. No sauce no onions nothing. The chicken is extremely dry and not flavorly. I almost chocked on it. Went back to ask for assistance and no one was willing to assist. Looking at me blankly. The one guy there said I didnt make the sandwich. Should have just gotten something from Starbucks at least they are consistent. And they still ask for tips. Didnt know fast food required tip especially one that doesnt give good customer service.

Food is overpriced. Everything was dry. The BBQ sauce and the potato salad was the best thing on the plate. Paid almost $40 for a 3 Meat platter. The portions are ridiculously small for the price you pay. The only positive aspect of this place is the bar and the seating area. Food is trash.

Our bartender Todd was amazing! We were craving a couple bloody Marys after our flight and to our delight you had BBQ style bloody Marys.

Todd recommended we make it a double, and he was right. We each had two. They were perfect. When we closed our tabs he noted we were both military and thanked us for our service. Perfect service.

Dickey’s will be my new go-to in DFW for my future connecting flights, especially if Todd is at the helm.

This is what a $15 potato looks like Ordered a loaded potato with brisket today. Potato is $13.50 with meat however, upcharge of $1.50 for brisket. Not even a serving of brisket. Most was plain fat! Terrible. Not even tasty. Don’t waste your $$

Food – Still trying to swallow. 1/2 lb Brisket and drink $30. Dry, if not for the bbq sauce and drink would have required Heimlich maneuver.

Service- People at the counter were great.

Atmosphere- it’s an airport

The food was good. Pulled pork was delicious. The fried okra was so good that I wanted another bag of them. I am picky on Cole slaw and theirs was great. Just the right balance of creamy without it being sloppy and soggy.
The brisket was the only part that was not as good. Now don’t get me wrong, this is airport BBQ. They get their meats delivered everyday but they are not allowed to smoke them on site. It is really really hard to not dry out brisket, and that is what happened. Now the sauces they had were good, so use them to give a little moisture back to your brisket if you need to. The sweet was a little too sweet for me but still good. The regular was a good balance but the hot is where the action is. Good flavor without t to much heat, I would not call it hot, spicy yes.
If you are in DFW and want some good BBQ you can’t go wrong here. And the ladies working the time I came by were friendly and happy to suggest options to try out.

The driest meet I’ve had! I paid $29 for a 2 meat plate and a drink expecting good meat but it is super dry and not good at all.

Similar experience to others. Terminal D had better options. Ordered the pulled pork, chicken breast, potato salad, Mac N cheese and came with bread. Chicken as dry as imaginable. Pulled pork had a small bone. Mac N cheese was insanely bad. Potato salad was the highlight. Bread forget about it. Skip this place. Insane pricing as well.
