I heard a about this through some news article about restaurants that I should try. Had it in my bucket list. I was disappointed in the flavor of the ribs. They were tender but not much smoke. I absolutely did not like the BBQ sauce. I’m not used to the vinegar based sauce. It is way to tart for me. My advice would be put it on the side. I even checked other tables just in case I got a bad bottle or to see if they had some southern BBQ sauce. Corn nuggets were good and service was good. I never saw any smoke when I pulled up, sometimes that is a bad sign.

I grew up eating here and recently stopped in after 25 years. The building looks very different than the tiny room I remember, haha. I ordered the pork plate with fried okra and potato salad. Of course I had to grab the best banana pudding around to go… It was all absolutely fabulous!

Amazing services very nice. Customer services was amazing. THE FOOD SO DELICIOUS.Its a wonderful atmosphere you will enjoy. You Alabama fan you will be very happy. Get up and Go check them out. Chicken Philly is so good. The burger is juicies and delicious pull pork the chicken there wasn’t a empty plate on the table. They are very nices and respectful.

I knew right when I saw this place traveling down to Auburn that we found something special walked into the place instantly saw an incredible atmosphere of just the coolest posters and the service was incredible, funny and kind and then don’t get me started about the food me and my friends are already planning on coming back (Philly cheesesteak and chicken sandwich and a jar of homemade homey) is what I ordered but personally I think you could throw a dart at that menu and you’d walk away feeling the same as me honestly this may have become my favorite restaurant of all time after one visit. I’d also like to personally shake whoever Jim is hand for putting this establishment together or however it went Godspeed to yall can’t wait to see you soon.

I love the food. I eat there a couple of times a month but every time that I have been there, they forget about me. People that come in a long time after i do, always get their food first. I have to check on the food which the order is never filled. Weird huh? Makes me feel unimportant for sure.The food is always great but never on time

Service was great, food was excellent. First time here, I got the 1/2 chicken plate. It was juicy and one of the best I’ve had. Baked beans and fries were excellent. I will certainly come back when I’m in the area.

OK…I feel obligated to update my review, dropping to 3 stars. Our BBQ sandwiches were cold and much smaller than in the past, not cool – cold. Peach cobbler was mush in a bowl. However, the okra was on point. It is a convenient gameday stop but we are going to pass it by from now on.

Really really good smoked pork…really really quick…but…and I love supporting local restaurants….everything else about this place is unoriginally chain restaurant like. Unimaginative side dishes that are straight from a distributor unaltered. If you want to be a local place then separate yourself from the chains.
