A friend of mine made a very bold claim that this place was hands down the best greek eatery in the entire city of San Antonio. Me loving Greek food and good good in general had to check it out. Me and my wife and son went and had our socks blown off by the top tier service by the friendly staff and the excellent entrees . We will definitely be back in the future.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a local Greek food place. I decided to try this place and fell in love! (I’ve been here 3 times in the past week lol)
First time I came I tried the house plate with a chicken kabob and greek salad. Second time I decided to try the chicken pita, and I added the solo basil feta spread, which has become a favorite of mine! I also love the fact that they have wheat pita as an option.
The staff are all friendly, and the restaurant is very homey and clean. 10/10 would recommend, and I will definitely be back again very soon!

I’ve been going to Papouli’s for probably 15 years – I previously lived near the Huebner location. I don’t get to go often, as I’ve moved. My mom and I stopped in since we were near the Forum. It took awhile to get our food because they were so busy. I was excited to see that – happy to see business is going well for one of my very favorite restaurants.
Our food was delicious as always and the service was very friendly and they thanked us for being patient.
We both got the lunch special – grilled chicken pita with a side. It’s always so tasty. I’ve been to Greece and I think this is as close as it gets here. 🙂

I come here regularly it’s one of the few places you can get genuinely healthy food. I love the workers, they are always kind and will answer all of your questions. Even called us once to let us know about a food allergy issue we weren’t aware of after ordering on DoorDash. Long time customer—will continue to be one. Great food, consistent quality, good vibes!

Can someone please give this establishment the best food in San Antonio and surrounding areas rating. Everything about the staff and food here is amazing. I’m one of those hard to please people, when it comes to eating out. Papouli’s nails it over and it over and over again. The food is always made to order and ingredients are always fresh. My favorite gyro has to be the lamb cooked medium well. The staff is always friendly and gets it right every single time. I will continue to eat here often and I’m honored to be a regular customer of this restaurant! Thank you, Papoulis You all are great! Please try this restaurant!

My family and I ate here for the first time today. It took 25 minutes for our food to be ready and it was not busy. The long time wait was worth it. First off…the staff was amazing. I watched this young man (I didn’t get his name but he was tall and had dark hair pulled up in a top knot) take care of every customer with such enthusiasm and a smile on his face. Very dedicated to the success of this restaurant.
The food was amazing. I got the chicken pita and the meat was very juicy. My family got the gyro pita and they said it was amazing. Oh. And the almond cookies…very soft and flavorful.
The only compliant I have was the fries. They tasted like they were just sitting in grease. No pun intended. Basically…replace the fries with pita chips. We will be back again.

We did takeout for lunch here a few weeks ago. We ordered the Hand Carved Gyro entree with white Pita bread and a small tossed Greek Salad and a second entree of Hand Carved Gyro with white Pita and fresh cut fries. All of the food was excellent, well seasoned and fresh tasting. Great customer service and great prices. We will definitely return ago and would highly recommend you visit this restaurant.

The Family Feast was so good! We stopped in to try this place and so glad we did. The seasonings are house made and so unique on the beef, chicken and shrimp ka-bobs. Easily our new favorite date night dining spot.
