Honestly, the food will always be a 6.5 or 7/10. That wasn’t the problem. The problem is when the old bat looking lady is there. She is very nasty at heart, mouth, and spirit. She refuses to give me utensils, claiming that I didn’t mention it in my order(like I didn’t order a whole dinner from her), refused to give me a plastic bag…they have brown paper bags, but I’m ordering greens and bbq. Like it wasn’t even doubled bag. You can tell she didn’t cook the greens today. They were soggier than it is normally, when the guy is working. She very old at age and mind. She don’t understand how DoorDash or anything that works. She asked me for my id for. My DoorDash order.? As if in she can read small wording. She made up some rule about ordering your food on DoorDash and picking it up yourself. She go say “well you need to let us know it’s you and not DoorDash picking up the order” and I asked her what different would it make. She told me to take my food and have a nice day. The customer service when she is there is terrible and her cook skills do not make up for it. I wish I could get a refund of som sort… cause if I haven’t paid for the food before I got there, I wouldn’t took it from her nasty hands and nasty attitude. I’m disgusted at the experience I have with her. Hopefully her days are coming to an end soon… and hopefully whoever is next behind her will have a better attitude. Zero stars

My hubby and daughter got the rib tips. They were good but the plate didn’t even come with 5 fries! I got the 1/4 chicken which was good but the Mac and cheese and mash potatoes were horrible! First and may be my last time ordering from here.

THIS FOOD IS DISGUSTING!
My mom ordered us some food from this location which is only 5 minutes away from us and it took 40 minutes for it to be ready and delivered. The macaroni we ordered was dry and CHEESELESS. The 4 pc chicken I received was the only thing that was DECENT that I ate this entire meal. The fires were soggy and cold. My mom couldn’t even bare to ear her food; she took one bite and immediately pushed it away! Mindju the ribs she ordered didn’t even get delivered so she was stuck with just eating greens and dressing. This is my first time eating from here and certainly is the last!

HORRIBLE,HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE I wouldnt feed my dog this food if i had one!Some Sundays I dont cook so when I get out of church,since im in the city I stop and get some food before heading back home.I grew up off Uncle Remus, I hear people talk about 127 Harolds I drove down there but they didn’t open until 12p ,I didn’t feel like waiting for 10 minutes biggest regret.I drove down to get on the expressway I remembered seeing a rib place.Kennys had just opened @12 so I ordered a combo Turkey tips/Wings and a regular yams.The tips were salty& dry I had to dip in the sauce ,the wings had a funny taste to them and the Yams was completely burnt. Additionally there was hair on 1 of my wings .I WILL NOT RECOMMEND anyone to go to this dump $37.00 gone down the drain!

Hot links, very shameful, for $ 40.00 got 4 very small links with watered down mild sauce and I counted 0nly 28 French fries 2 slices of wet/hard white bread. I Called back to the cal-city location to make notification. I should have known something that was wrong……..no one was in the place to purchase food. As I was leaving out, I noticed how unclean in back of the counter areas was. We didn’t eat the order. Give it to a homeless man. He threw it away and start cursing. Recommend go to a real rib shack. Kenneys it’s time to turn off the grill and pass the fork. Please, please please!!! Stay away from the Lansing, Illinois kennys shack. It’s very depressing, dark and gloomy inside. Now I see why Kennys is closing down thier locations. People standing outside begging for money in front of a business. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

This place was not good. First they falsely advertise a BOGO on Friday and Saturday- INSIDE THE STORE- But then refuses to honor it. The pork ribs were scraps and bones. The mac is dry and egg tasting. This was not a good experience. Its bad enough there is no parking, but that could have been forgiven if the food had been good. But it wasn’t. Not even worth the money spent or the time to ever go back. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

My food looked like someone ate it already. Let’s just say I know a drunk cooks work when I see it. Ribs were butchered. Could find the meat and a few pieces were all bones. I should have went to McDonalds. And got the McRib Food had no taste. Wings were bland as well
