I’m someone who lives for red sauce — pasta, pizza, anything. I’ve tried five or six different Italian restaurants around Lakewood, and this one is, without a doubt, my go-to every single time.

So many places get red sauce wrong — too watery so it slides right off the noodles, or the pasta’s overcooked and sticks to your teeth. Not here. The noodles are perfectly cooked — fresh, bouncy, and full of life — and that sauce? Rich, flavorful, and the kind that makes your mouth water just thinking about it.

And the portions? Absolutely unbeatable. I ordered one plate of spaghetti with three huge meatballs, gave my mother-in-law a heaping serving of her own, ate my fill, and still had enough left for tomorrow — and probably the next day too. The price is more than fair for what you get, and the quality never misses. $23 for one plate that will feed me 3 days.

I’ve never dined in, but every pickup and phone order has been nothing but smiles, thank-yous, and genuine kindness. You can tell the people here care about what they’re serving. This place has become a serious craving of mine — the kind that hits you out of nowhere and won’t let go until you give in. What do yall pit in that SAUCE!! Anyways.

If you’re looking for that cozy, hole-in-the-wall gem with real authentic food that’ll leave your stomach content and heart behind it, this is the place. Thank you for taking care of us every single time.

(P.S. If the breadsticks ever get a little garlicky bite to match that amazing red sauce, it’d be perfection)

Warning. Under new ownership. The worst food I’ve ever been served. How do you undercook, I mean raw dough undercooked, in a wood oven pizza? I struggled to cut with a butter knife. Lasagna with two small sheets of pasta and what looked like sloppy joes with terrible flavor. And the bread they served us prior was so bad we couldn’t eat it, bread, that stuck to our teeth. I don’t think I could worse if I tried. Did we just get punked? A very sad joke, and I paid and we left our uneaten food. The menu has changed drastically is so basic and limited and they couldn’t even do a very limited menu below average.

The atmosphere was gorgeous and romantic and the food was filling and delicious. I am certainly coming back to try more of the menu.

My new go to for Italian in Denver!
Cute ambiance, service was amazing, and the food was all spectacular. After living in New York and i am a burrata snob and this was the best burrata I’ve had outside of Italy. Also got the lobster and shrimp ravioli, the sauce was so rich and delicious. The tiramisu was also the best I’ve ever had!

Overall 10/10 experience

This restaurant was absolutely amazing! We called with a last minute large party reservation and were fully prepared to sit on the patio, but the staff managed to squeeze us inside with a quick wait. The pizza was so good, the crust perfect and toppings fresh. Pesto tortellini pasta was so tasty and we also had fried ravioli and meatballs appetizers. Some of the best wine, the Malbec and the “Simply” blend were both so smooth. We have no complaints and would highly recommend this sweet little restaurant for delicious classic Italian!

The amazing food outweighed the inexperienced server. To be fair, we arrived around 7, just after a big rush (note: they close at 8) so we were a bit slow to be seated and waited on, which was fine, because the food is that good. I had the lasagna, huge serving and delicious, and the lava cake was also incredible. Unfortunately, the server brought it to me in a togo container because they were about to close… So I ate it quickly at the table. It would have been even better on a plate.

It’s ok, feels like a family run joint, and I still plan to go back, some of the best Italian food in Denver, but I will keep my expectations for the service low. And hey, everyone has got to start somewhere.

Today I went to this place, I ordered an Aperol Spritz the waiter made a gesture of not knowing what that drink was??? When in Italy in a super common drink… we ordered a pizza and they brought us a calzone??? I don’t want to make this review so long, I just want to tell the person in the kitchen that thank you very much because she came out to show her face, when we never told her anything, out of respect for the kitchen I’m not going to put photos, but I want to tell you that this restaurant is one of the worst Italians we have visited, since it is a small business, it’s about giving the best, we pay the total bill with the 20% tip. We own a restaurant, we were hungry and unfortunately we got together with Villa Pizza. Good luck guys!

Amazing experience! Food was the best Italian we’ve ever had ( we ordered garlic twists, spaghetti and pizza) and our waitress Melissa made our time here extra special…she was helpful and very kind. We were celebrating my son’s birthday and had an amazing pistachio cannolli to top off our lunch. Highly recommend this hidden gem. Thanks to everyone there. We’ll definitely be back!

Harvey Park we hit the jackpot! This little gem opened up just 10 days ago. I just picked up a to-go order on a Friday night. It warmed my heart❤️ to see the restaurant packed full of people eating dinner. Smelled so good when I walked in. I highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back for Monday night lasagna special (dine in only).

The unusual seasoning of the sausage (which made it taste like black licorice) kind of threw off an otherwise delicious meal. The calamari was some of the most tender I’ve ever had. Hosts were attentive. The seating seems fancy but is a little too close to other tables and the music was a little louder than I like. Prices are high but the portions are large enough you’ll be taking home leftovers.
