We ordered tea, hot chocolate, and coffee, and the banana bread was good. Unfortunately, that was the only positive.
There is signage in the parking deck stating parking is for HQ residents and CoCo & Maple patrons only. Since we were customers, my friend parked there. We stayed until closing, and when we came out, her car had been towed. She had her toddler with her, and it was extremely cold, making the situation very stressful and unnecessary.
When I went back inside, an employee pointed to a paper on the door showing which spots were for the cafe. None of us noticed it, and my friend who parked said someone opened the door for her, so she never saw it. There was no clear or visible signage in the parking lot or inside the cafe explaining which spots were allowed.
Because the parking instructions were unclear, my friend had to pay towing fees that feel very unfair. The cafe should take responsibility and cover the towing cost, at least partially. What should have been a simple coffee catch-up turned into a very expensive experience, and we would think twice about returning.
Staff is great! The coffee is perfect.
Cortado to go was just right. Not bitter or burnt and the foam was velvet. I will get my next cup for here. I imagine it’s even better.
Edit: 11/15/2025 Upon a second chance, the cafe excelled in efficiency delivering their delicious espresso late and breakfast sandwiches. Vibes are chill and atmoshere is classy.
I tried their latte. I drink lattes everywhere I go, all around the world, and I’ve never had one quite like this—this latte was very oily and harshly bitter, so I didn’t enjoy it.
The place has nice seating, but it’s very busy and loud, so you may have to share tables with others, especially at the larger tables. The staff at the bar and taking orders could also improve their friendliness, as it wasn’t very inviting.
UPDATE: The ownership comes across as sarcastic, and they didn’t bother responding to the actual issues mentioned. As for the coffee quality, they might want to try tasting it themselves. And I also saw in a recent review that someone’s car was towed. I’m not surprised. Even the day I went, the signage outside says customers of this cafe can park, but then there’s a small sheet of paper on the door with fine print that’s easy to miss. My friend didn’t notice it when she walked in. I happened to see it and had to warn my other friend.
