I stumbled upon this gem while killing time before my hotel check-in after a long flight, and it turned out to be the perfect welcome to Paris. The atmosphere immediately caught my attention—unique, nostalgic interiors paired with an unexpected but delightful backdrop of electric guitar jazz.
Even though we arrived just as the lunch service was winding down, the owner (who is also the chef) graciously welcomed us in for a quick meal. We ordered the Beef Phở and the Hủ Tiếu (Seafood Noodle Soup). You can tell the owner takes pride in her craft; the beef broth had the deep, rich flavor that only comes from using oxtail. As for the seafood noodles, while the squid felt a bit standard, the crab and shrimp were incredibly fresh and sweet. I particularly loved the generous helping of chives, which added a wonderful crisp texture to every bite.
The restaurant feels like a neighborhood hub; the owner chatted warmly with regulars, creating a very homey vibe. She mentioned her rolls are a specialty, so I’ve already marked them down for my next visit.
One funny note for future diners: The vintage posters on the wall are atmospheric, but watch out for the life-sized cutout of the Vietnamese lady (perhaps a flight attendant?) right next to the restroom. It’s so realistic that it startled me multiple times—I thought there was a person standing there!
A lovely spot with character. I will definitely be back
On a winter cold evening we decided to go have some pho by checking for top rated restaurants; I can say that we were very satisfied.
The pho was really nice and fairly priced.
Polite service.
Dog friendly (always a plus)!
Classical home-style, simple yet beautiful Vietnamese food that you MUST try. Chef Madamme Tuyết is special and a true blessing from God!
Tried the orange-ginger glazed duck, caramelised pork and sautéed vegetable and shrimp noodles. Feels everything like being in a home in Vietnam.
Service is great, atmosphere calm, warm and inviting.
I have had Vietnamese food in many major cities but this is #1.
I will be returning…
The dish comes with a lemon pepper sauce which cuts the fried frog legs and adds to the dish overall.I saw reviews for the spring rolls but the frog legs were the star ⭐️
The restaurant is owned by a very lovely family and this really comes through in the food and service.
We ordered the bánh xèo, papaya salad, grilled beef noodle dish, and grilled prawns. Each dish had its own distinct flavor profile, and we especially enjoyed the thoughtful balance of sauces and the generous use of fresh herbs. Everything tasted authentic and well executed.
We finished the meal with a fresh plate of mangoes and Vietnamese iced coffee. Even at 10 p.m., we couldn’t resist a proper cup of Vietnamese coffee—and it was worth it.
Thank you for a delicious meal. I’m very much looking forward to coming back.
