I went here for a nostalgia reasons. Didn’t realize they still had restaurants open. The food has definitely changed. Portions are smaller flavors a little different, but overall I still liked the ambience. Great value for money if you’re bringing your family.

We got the chicken meal for two and it was soooo good! Chicken was juicy and seasoned well, potatoes were flavorful, pasta cooked perfectly and most importantly breadsticks are out of this world! The staff on top of it all were so friendly. We loved it here even more than expected!

Came here due to Pat & Oscar’s connection. Ordered wings, a lottle dry, ribs were on point, regular breadsticks delicious, we also ordered Jalapeños cheesy breafsticks and were gone, greenbeans were one of best tasted, cesar salad was great, pace was clean. The customer service at O’s American Kitchen was commendable. Despite the size of our group, we were greeted promptly and assisted with our orders. The system of ordering at the counter and having the food brought to our table worked efficiently, and our multiple orders were processed accurately and in a timely manner.
As for the food, we opted for the Large family meals as well as a few sandwiches and a personal pizza. While the family meals offered excellent value for feeding a crowd, the quality of the food left something to be desired. While nothing was particularly bad, nothing stood out as exceptional either. The lasagna, pasta, salads, pizzas, wings, and breadsticks were all adequate but lacked that wow factor.
The sandwiches, while decent, fell short of expectations. The Chipotle chicken sandwich came with an unexpected addition of BBQ sauce, which may have been a mix-up or a misinterpretation of the menu. I might be living off of nostalgia. But I do love Thier bread sticks and the food is relatively good. Prices are a bit more than I would plan but each individual meal is too much for 1 person.

I don’t like to post bad reviews but when I do is because something really bad happened. This is a great occasion, for q bad review. I went in to eat with my family everything was going good. Until, the food started arriving at the table. We had eaten all of our food and the chicken Alfredo never arrive, so I asked a staff to please put in a container to go, forward to the evening I tried to eat and found a fly inside the pasta. By the way the container was given to me with a lid.

Grotesquely overpriced. Everything ordered from pasta and pizza either tasted rancid or not like anything at all. The entire restaurant during dinner rush was run by only 5 people, and thus, not only did everything take too long, but I never even got my marinara sauce before finishing the meal. The only consistent patrons are trapped here hoping that it will remind them of what it used to be. Could be mismanaged, or the owner is just using good will to make profit while running it into the ground. Only try if you want to lower your expectations of what a restaurant should be.

I remember when this place used to be called Pat and Oscar’s in Carlsbad. It was a childhood favorite with so many amazing memories going there as a family for every special occasion. They have the best breadsticks in the world. Cannot be beat. And the best chicken wings. When I heard that this restaurant was still around I knew I had to go back just for the breadsticks lol. But now as an adult this place is still so special to me. I order pick up all the time after work. It’s not fancy but I come here for the nostalgia.❤️ Love y’all! Customer for life here!

My go to for lunch is their half chicken with a Caesar salad. Lemon or BBQ. Oh and I don’t even have to tell you about the breadsticks. I love the carrot cake too, but I wish the slice was a little larger! But maybe that’s just me.
