1st impression, older steakhouse kept up nicely. Seated in the dinning room which has some interesting decor. The tables have linen clothes and silverware wrapped in linen napkins. Not bad at all. Looking over the menu there’s a really adequate selection of dinners to fit anyone’s taste. Order placed and a short time later the salads were delivered in a small shallow bowl with homemade dressings. This is where I kind lost hope in the place. I unwrapped the silverware from the linen to find generic, very cheap sharp edged utensils. Worse that you get from a buffet line. For an upscale restaurant, this is a major negative failure on they’re part. I even said something to the waitress and asked to talk with a manager. Never happened. Food arrives and presentation was nice. Back on track to enjoy the meal using uncomfortable silverware, that didn’t last long, hit by way to much salt in the dinner. Big disappointment and honestly cannot recommend this location to anyone based on my experience and lack of management interest to talk with me.

Come hungry, be patient with the service, and enjoy the delicious food. Be aware that the menu online is outdated. All steaks and prime rib are market price (Feb 2024) of $50 or higher. The atmosphere is more of an upper scale restaurant. There were only 2 servers on a Sunday night with the full restaurant. Service was minimally attentive and the hostess/bartender was overwhelmed. Only positive things to say about the food.

Hold onto your undies for this one ladies and gents. We’re from out of state and looked up where to find a steak. Lo and behold this hidden jem. Don’t let the other 1 star reviews get you down. This is a great place with amazing food. Anyway there was this waiter named Alexander. My guys and I have decided we would ride majestic steeds to the end of time for this fine fella! He was beyond amazing! From start to finish our experience with him was nothing short of amazing! I hope this review helps and excites your taste buds.

I ordered the 18 ounce ribeye and it was delicious. My kids got kids meals and they absolutely love them. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is so super friendly. I recommend this place. I will definitely be back. A plus I also recommend the spinach and artichoke dip fairy delicious

We went to Woodys for a Birthday celebration, one of our favorite restaurants and once again it did not disappoint. There were 7 of us and all of our food was amazing with huge portions. I can’t say enough good about our waiter Alexander. He was the best, so friendly and accommodating. He also put up with our joking and joined right in. What a great guy!! We will be back soon!

Ok, this place was very weird. It was in a small town in Illinois, kind of down and out feeling, not particularly friendly people (except our server, who was strangely nice, but not particular adept at being a server), and yet had big city prices. $69 for a rib eye steak at a place with paper table clothes under glass? Yikes! Our food was serviceable, if not a bit salty (Salt Lake City called…). Meal took way too long to be served. Oh, and if you want to eat at the bar, don’t go there, they don’t allow it!

Perfect place for small family diner or few friends. This place offers good value and service for money. Came hungry but couldn’t finish my steak had to take it home.
Customer service is great, as the food and the atmosphere. Expect some wait time depending on what you’re ordering, in the meantime just chill and enjoy some appetizer.
The set up is pretty basic but decent. Nothing extravagant. Thought for a moment if the interior is meant for older visitors. I imagine some extra deco may appeal better for the younger generation too. Nonetheless nothing in particular that stands repulsive to any age group. I also this business isn’t necessarily to have too many people over at once, as the toilet won’t allow for more than one or two people to visit at a time.
WIFI? Forgot to test that part. However it will be better to have some internet since things aren’t that cheap on the menu anyway.
First time there in 2019 to celebrate my engagement, fun being there with my wife last night. In all I’ve really enjoyed it and will do so again when I’m in town.

Woody’s was quite crowded. My server was very kind. I went here planning to get steak but decided to get a full rack of pork ribs instead because the market prices for all while steak cuts was about 50% higher than listed prices on menu photos. My ribs nice and tender, but I did not love the onions in the barbecue sauce. The spinach salad was good. The baked potato was somewhat soggy.

The food was not bad but honestly a bit pricey for what it was. I had the chicken piccata and it was a little dry. The others in the group had steak. Honestly it was not bad, it’s just what you’d expect from a nice diner versus a steakhouse. Oh if you have any picky eater kids don’t get the cheese pizza- the sauce is a meat sauce and to quote my kid “it tastes like spaghetti” – and it really did. I thought it was fine but he did not.
The decor is a bit strange- modernish, but then they have this bizarre gnome and plastic flowers set up in the dining room. Not the place I’d go for an anniversary or anything like that if you’re looking for an upscale atmosphere.
Our server was fantastic. A nice young man with a big smile. He was very attentive and welcoming. You could tell he was trying to please. He was absolutely delightful.
All in all this place is ok. I probably won’t go back but it was not a bad experience, just a bit.. underwhelming.
