Went there for fish and chips tonight. Atmosphere was not really warm or nice. Fish (Walleye) was excellent, but fries were stale and tasted like they had been sitting under a warming light for 30 minutes. Waitress never stopped by to check on us so that we could tell her until we were finished with the fish. We didn’t eat the fries. We sent them back and no credit was offered…not even for a Diet Coke I ordered. Disappointing overall for $50.

This is a very hidden gem in the heart of Hinckley. The staff welcomed us on entering and seated us in the front room overlooking the road. Our food and drink orders were taken quickly. As we waited, many people began entering. You could tell it is a meeting spot for the locals. Our food was delicious and the burgers were huge. I would have loved to have tried many more things on the menu.

This place is a little hidden away gem! The food is quality and tastes good. You wouldn’t expect much when walking in, but so many things are homemade and all we had were delicious. Our service was great too!
We had the French onion dip with homemade pita chips and it was like French onion soup with the real onions and cheese but in a dip form. Wow! Our server recommended it and she was spot on! The BBQ chicken pizza was delicious too! Crust was buttery and the cook on the pizza was spot on. I hasn’t been here in years and was impressed and definitely want to return.

LAST DAY IN HINCKLEY. Sorry we waited so long to try it out. Let’s start with lunch Kielbasa and pierogi WONDERFUL!
Sweet pea salad Delicious added grilled chicken (char grilled) also delicious. Prices were pretty consistent with food quality.
We sat on the enclosed porch nice seating area. not sure it was a porch but weather permitting the windows would have opened for an Al Fresco atmosphere

I had ordered my burger medium rare. When it came out it was rare IMO. So I sent it back. Francesca, our server couldn’t have been nicer about it. I had taken two bites before I decided I just couldn’t do it. I told her to nuke it a minute and it would be perfect. They completely redid the burger, bringing a new one out. I couldn’t believe they did that. A lot of places just send you the same product out, and usually overcooked. . Not in this case. Francesca couldn’t have been nicer and more attentive. The burger and fries were awesome. You could tell it was made from fresh ground beef and not some preformed frozen patties. The toppings were all fresh and packed high. I had to mash the heck out of it to get it in my mouth. The fries were awesome as well. Done just right. My wife’s burger was cooked to perfection. (She likes well done) and she had hush puppies which were very tasty. I had a cup of clam chowder to try and it too was exceptional. Large chucks of clams in a super tasty broth with celery and carrot. I highly recommend stopping by and trying them for yourself. We will stop by anytime we are close.

A local favorite except the service has gone down hill. The need more staff or better staff. Frequent visits over the years. The best bartender around! I always enjoy our food and would recommend the pizza, cheesy bread, and burgers.

Came here for dinner the other night before heading across the street to Hoppy Dudes. Good menu with lots of options. Service was quick and friendly. Beer selection was also impressive! Definitely worth a visit!
