I have never been to a First Watch Daytime Cafe before but what a pleasant experience it was shortly after noon so I could choose between the breakfast items or the lunch. I chose the Roast Beef Sandwich with Havarti Cheese Horseradish Dressing on the side what a great sandwich the arugula was a great addition to the crispy sourdough bread best tackled with a fork and a knife”. Service was excellent. A young man named “Jason” was both my host and server. He was welcoming and attentive.

Today I was seated at a table near the front door, my server was friendly and food was as expected. My conversation with my guest was disrupted due to a curly haired server taking a personal call on speaker phone near my table.
I will be back, but I was a little disappointed at the lack of insight or self awareness.
