I’ve been eyeing this place for a while because it always looks so fancy when I walk by. They describe themselves as a farm-to-table restaurant, so I decided to stop in for dinner on a Wednesday night. I didn’t have a reservation but got seated right away. The service and ambiance were great, and it’s definitely a nice spot for a date or a relaxed dinner.

We ordered the beef tartare, shaved brussels sprout salad, shrimp penne, and Mediterranean seabass. The tartare was light but didn’t have much flavor, and the brussels sprout salad was heavy on the goat cheese, which might be a hit or miss depending on your taste.

The seabass was amazing. Perfectly cooked, super moist with crispy skin, and the sides that came with it were delicious. The shrimp penne was also really good, with a flavorful sauce and a generous portion that was enough for leftovers the next day. I also appreciated the complimentary bread and homemade butter, which were both delicious. Everything was plated beautifully and looked elegant.

Overall, I’d definitely come back for the seabass and maybe try different appetizers next time. The setting, service, and presentation make it a really pleasant dining experience.

Absolutely awesome dining experience for our 18th anniversary outing on a busy Saturday night in Pasadena. Started off at the bar for drinks with Zack the bartender. Then transitioned to the center booth for appetizers and main courses. Sea bass and yellow tail tuna was very tasty as was the bread/butter, beet salad and steak tartare appetizer. They even gave us a free happy anniversary dessert it was delicious. Ambiance is lively, crowded, fun. We waited 45 mins for a table. Drinks were very good overall (mixed and beer). Restroom was very clean. No complaints whatsoever; we’ll be back soon, highly recommended.

All around amazing restaurant. My only note is the dinner rolls are a little dry. Good but not as good as a restaurant of this caliber should be rolling with.

The experience is otherwise perfect. Nice layout, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Open kitchen.

Duck was tender. Tagliatelle with braised short rib was perfect all the way around. Strong blue cheese of you like that. Walnut for a good crunch.

Our waiter gave Mr a birthday dessert which is primo. Cheesecake and ice cream with a delicious brown sugar graham crumble and toasted marshmallow topping.

I celebrated my birthday at The Arbour in Pasadena yesterday, and it was such a memorable experience. From the warm atmosphere to the beautifully presented dishes, everything felt special.

We started with the crab pita and prosciutto toast—both were fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. For mains, we shared a spread that felt like a feast: the Mediterranean seabass was delicate and perfectly cooked, the seared yellowfin tuna had a wonderful balance of texture and flavor, the black pepper crusted chicken was juicy with just the right amount of kick, and the 12 oz New York steak was tender and satisfying. Each dish stood on its own but also worked beautifully as part of a shared table.

To end the night, the pineapple sorbet was refreshing and light—a great way to wrap up a rich meal.

The service was attentive without being rushed, and they made the birthday dinner feel extra special. Pasadena has a lot of dining options, but The Arbour really stands out for both quality and atmosphere. I’d happily come back again for another celebration—or even just a nice night out.

I have eaten at The Arbour before and always enjoyed it – 5 stars all around – but this review is for an event we held two weeks ago. My daughter and son-in-law chose The Arbour for their wedding reception and it could not have been better. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The coordination, food, drinks and service were all amazing. Multiple people told me it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding. The quality and variety of foods that the chef offered, taking into account multiple food sensitivities of the guests, was superb. Everyone at The Arbour was so nice and helpful and all of the guests had a blast. We were beyond pleased with the event and very grateful to The Arbour’s staff who went over and above.

Went here to celebrate my mom’s anniversary and it was perfect! A cozy seating, an attentive server, and delicious food rounded out the night. We tried the prosciutto and peaches toast appetizer (10/10!) & the Mediterranean Sea Bass (10/10) & the short rib special (9/10).

We finished with coffee and the pineapple sorbet and the vanilla panna cotta with rhubarb and strawberry topping.

Our server was attentive and polite, giving us space to make sure we enjoyed our privacy, but he was close by to ensure our water was refilled and our table was cleared.

I would definitely return here again, I can’t wait to see what other seasonal pairings they come up with.

This spot is great for a date night, anniversary or girls fancy night out. And there’s lots of shopping nearby too!

We enjoyed a truly lovely evening at The Arbour! From the moment we walked in, the warm, rustic-elegant atmosphere set the tone for a special night out. It strikes that perfect balance of being classy and relaxed — great for date night or any occasion you want to feel a little extra.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. Our server made us feel genuinely welcome, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right moments without ever interrupting our conversation. That kind of attentiveness really made the evening feel special.

We tried a couple of menu highlights, and they were delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The overall experience was memorable, and it’s clear why so many locals and visitors alike rave about this place.

If you’re in Pasadena and looking for a memorable dinner with fantastic service and a welcoming vibe, The Arbour is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back.

The shrimp penne was good, would recommend to pasta lovers. I was disappointed by the steak, the NY steak was too simple and I hardly tasted any flavor. The only thing that carried it is that it was made correctly. The staff was great, very attentive and accommodating.

First off, all the food tasted amazing. The filet mignon with potatoes and the crab on brioche were our main highlights.
I brought my wife here because it was her birthday and its the first birthday we are celebrating as a married couple.
The atmosphere and service were great but there was only one small hiccup. The restaurant will not give you a complimentary dessert if you go for a birthday. They brought us dessert menus after I previously mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday, which was a little confusing. We made a selection and they brought a candle with our selection which was very nice but it was still placed on our bill. They might not have a special/pre selected dessert that they give you if you go for a birthday which is a very minor thing but everything else was perfect. Food tasted great and the servers are very on top of everything.
