This was a truly indescribable dining experience. I can’t truly put into words how much my husband and I enjoyed our lunch here today. Beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, incredible food! We got complimentary hot tea before our meal, and ordered Turkish coffee afterwards that was a remarkable way to end the meal. Our gyros were perfect as was everything else. It was quiet and the music was pleasant, and the plants and sunlight coming in added so much to the atmosphere. We loved the relaxing areas with the chess board and dominoes as well! Thank you so much for this lovely experience!

Honestly, we were really disappointed with our experience here.

We were visiting from out of town and consider ourselves big foodies who love trying new places. Based on the positive reviews, we decided to stop in for lunch, but unfortunately, our experience did not reflect what we had read.

My husband and I both ordered the chicken shawarma wraps, and they were much smaller than expected. Every shawarma we’ve had before has been generously filled with veggies, sauces, and all the flavorful extras that make it a true shawarma. This one, however, was just chicken. It felt more like a plain chicken wrap than an authentic shawarma.

Another family member ordered a different dish (pictured above). The rice was dry, and the meat was extremely dry and overcooked. It was so tough around the edges that he wasn’t able to finish it.

We truly wanted to enjoy our meal, but overall, it did not meet our expectations.

Our family loves Pella. This is a small, family owned restaurant, their food is always fresh, and they keep their prices lower than the nasty burgers from fast food chains!! Gyros, chicken swarma, baba ganoush, hummus, kebabs, and salads are all amazing. Everything is homemade and always delicious!!

This place is adorable. There’s a welcoming little entryway with plants that make it feel light and cozy at the same time. The atmosphere is one I could sit in all day. And the food is so good! I was unable to resist so there’s only a picture of the baklava.

Amazing!!! I’m happy to give this a 10 star review if there was one! This Mediterranean, Jordanian cuisine has been our favorite when passing through Jonesboro for 4 years. The lamb chops are our favorite and they are tender and well seasoned. We were blessed to meet the owners this trip. Such kind and hospitable persons. Very willing to share the culture, the food and conversation. So much I can say but it would be too long. I hope to visit again this year, yes a 6 hr drive from home! Worth every mile for our trip to Jordan via Pella Cafe!!

Was in the mood for Greek food and found this place. We had never been here before, but now, we’ll definitely be going back. Located in a large unassuming shopping center, but once you walk inside it’s like you’re transported to another world. Clean, warm, inviting, and friendly all wrapped into one. Everything we ordered arrived fresh, hot, and fast. My husband and I ordered the Chicken Shawarma entree, Vegetable kabob entree, an order of hummus served with soft pita bread, and an order of falafel. The sweet girl taking our order even gave us a complimentary hot tea. Beyond exceptional! Everything was flavorful, fresh, and we left with full bellies. Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ worthy

The food was simply amazing, The service was awesome, the atmosphere was very quaint and quiet as myself and another couple were the only patrons. I ordered the lamb chops, lentils soup, and salad which were all delicious. Although the salad was small with a meager amount of ingredients; it was still very flavorful. I’ll be sure to visit again when I am in the area. Oh….the Turkish tea….truly wonderful!

If I could give the service a 0 stars I would. For context I have been eating here for years and never had issues. I ordered food and had it doordashed about 3 weeks ago and the taziki sauce and pickles were left out of my order I didn’t think too much of it. Today I came in with my fiance for lunch and we waited 1 hour and 30 mins for our food to come after we ordered it. When you order your food you pay and tip ahead of time here. I would’ve tipped 0 had I known it would take this long. If you value your time wouldn’t waste your time here. We just went ahead and asked for it to be made to go once she got her plate. Again loved eating here for years but won’t be back.

Please ignore the negative reviews for this place!! Pella is our absolute favorite restaurant for so many reasons, and it is well worth the wait.

We ate at PELLA CAFE again today and our wait was a little long, but we are 100% happy with it.

Chain restaurants treat their employees horribly. They dont worry about quality control unless it affects their bottom line or passing a health inspection test. The food is mass produced, often microwaved, and leaves you feeling sick.

Small businesses like Pella are priceless. Yes, you will probably wait a little longer, especially on a busy day like today. But you also get carefully made, delicious, authentic food served by kind folks who care about their customers and the family business that they have built.

Our food at Pella today was impeccable. It is ALWAYS impeccable. We had their delicious hot tea, hummus and bread, a chicken shawarma with rice, and a chicken shawarma wrap. Every bite was DELICIOUS and was well worth the price! We have literally never had a single bite of bad food there!!

Everything at Pella is clean, smells lovely, and absolutely oozes quality. It is a perfect place for a quiet date or a family outing like we had today.

A while back, I messaged the owners asking them about a tea they serve there. They happily sent us the name and let us know we could buy it in store. We have a child with severe food allergies and have messaged before to check menu items and ensure that it was safe for her to eat there. Again, they responded quickly and kindly to make sure that the items they serve were safe for her!

Once, we arrived on a windy, rainy, rough day about 20 minutes before the restaurant was open. (I forgot to check the time!) If you have toddlers, you know that the time it takes waiting for a restaurant to open can be dangerous, since meltdowns are likely to happen. one of the owners gave my toddler a snack, we sat down outside and quietly waited while they opened their kitchen and set up, and then we went inside where she had made us all some delicious hot tea herself. That level of kindness, care, and hospitality comes from FAMILY OWNED businesses who care.

If you have a problem with an order/wait, chances are high that a big chain restaurant will just placate you and do the same thing the next time. Places like Pella actually care. ‍♀️ this is shown consistently with the quality of their food, service, ambiance, and attention to detail. Slow down, enjoy the experience, and have a meal that is truly worth it!!
