Unfortunately, I have to leave this review because it’s become clear that something needs to be brought to management’s attention regarding this Don Tortaco location.
I come here every so often—maybe once every couple of weeks—not quite a regular, but enough to notice patterns. And almost every time I visit, there’s some kind of issue going on.
The first time I came, I went through the drive-thru and was told, rather bluntly, that they don’t accept Apple Pay or tap-to-pay. That was frustrating, especially since most places nowadays do.
Today, I decided to walk in and dine inside. The same gentleman who had been curt during my first visit greeted me again—still with the same off-putting tone—and told me they were out of gas for the grill and were “thinking about closing.” He asked me what I was planning to order and said maybe they could still make it, but honestly, the whole situation felt like a half-step from shutting down. I ended up just going elsewhere.
I don’t know if they run their grill on propane or something else, but it’s concerning that this seems to be a recurring theme. There’s always an excuse or equipment issue. If this location is part of a franchise or chain, I strongly encourage upper management or ownership to look into how this store is being run—whether that’s keeping supplies stocked, maintaining equipment, or investing in updated payment systems like Apple Pay.
The food here can be good, but the customer experience is consistently frustrating. I want to see this place succeed, but it really needs stronger management oversight to do so.

ABSOLUTE 0 STARS! I ordered nachos and received nothing but big chunks of half chicken and hella gaucomole I’m so upset! I called to complain she kept hanging up laughing and acting like she didn’t speak English! Wouldn’t provide her name even when I asked her in Spanish and when asked for the manager she said she didn’t have one! IM EXTREMELY UPSET reporting to BBB immediately they are gonna get the shut down they are so desiring’ I’m taking this all the way!

Got to say mondays are awesome at don Tortaco, you get street tacos for 1.50 a piece. Got 4 street tacos 2 carnitas and 2 carne asada for 6.88 and they were loaded with meat and toppings. The tacos were really good and the salsa and cucumber bar is always on point. Service was fast and the food was fresh. Thank you for the meal. 🙂

Their food is straight up trash. Got the Crunchy tacos and they were just packed with wet lettuce making them all soggy and broken. Literally threw the food out. It was disgusting. Will never give this or any of their other locations my business as the quality of food in other locations was also disgusting. Was hoping to find atleast one location that had decent food to not judge the whole chain based on one location. They all consistently produce gross food. Don’t waste your money.

Food and service are pretty good, but my order accuracy tends to be hit or miss. I ordered the stewed chicken burrito today and was given the grilled chicken by mistake. This is not the first time for such errors, so double check before pulling away. Another gripe: they charge over $2.25 to add a tiny sprinkle of cheese to any item. Albertsons sells an 8oz bag for $1.67… cmon people.

I was staying at a BnB down the street for a friend’s bachelor party. We were coming back from The Strip around 6:30am and was hungry. When I say the older guy who cooked and served us was a blessing I truly mean that. This restaurant is a gem and 24-hour service in Vegas outside of the main Strip is needed.

This is my first time buying breakfast burritos and I can tell you they were awful!!!
Disappointed and threw them away….if I not mistaken potatoes should be in a breakfast burrito….they were skimpy and I ordered a large refried beans and it was the size of a small serving and they have no taste….slap in the face! I even tipped $5
And wish I could take it back….
