Social Profile:

We are a family business originated from Florida, Guerrero a small town in Mexico. We were so taken aback with all the kind people in Cushing, that it reminds us of our sweet and cozy old town back home. Which is why we named our restaurant Pueblo Viejo, this translates to Old Town. We are so excited to open this restaurant and bring our culture to everyone around us with our delicious authentic Mexican food. Stay on the lookout for our official opening date! -Familia Bustos

Food was amazing. The Modelo beers were served in these massive glass mugs that had salted rims — much more than I had been expecting. My birria was excellent. Would definitely visit here again.

Food was absolutely delicious. Everything had amazing flavor. Services was really good. We had a large group who were often busy in conversation but the waitress never got annoyed while waiting for us to notice her efforts to get our orders. And she regularly topped up our drinks. Pricing was great as well. Definitely would go again.

Okay, I’ve given 5 stars on everything and it is very good. Its not as perfect as the stars imply but its as close to as a restaurant in Cushing, OK., can be. We went in on a Sunday after church and they were PACKED! It took a bit to get waited on and then to get our food but if you expect perfection go to a larger city and make a reservation. This place makes, in my opinion, makes THE best authentic Mexican food in our region to include Stillwater, Chandler, Guthrie, and Sapulpa. IT IS WORTH EVERY SECOND YOU MAY WAIT!! If you are on a pipeline turn around or service crew, your staying in town and you haven’t gone there, and you like quality Mexican food, you’re wrong!!! Please give them a try, be patient, but try them!

This place feels like home. We make the short drive from Stillwater weekly just to visit this nice, authentic restaurant! Staff are kind & food is correct & delicious. Has even turned into our family’s go to for celebrations!

So this restaurant was very good. The food tasted fresh, was served hot, and the portions were generous. The guacamole was by far the best I’ve had around in a long while, and the salsa hit the spot.
Chips, salsa, water, meal, and a guac appetizer before tip was $12 and change. Can beat a good hot meal for that price.

Food was good! Service was quick, for a packed house! I’m a salsa fan and a 7.5 out of 10. I will definitely go back! Rather extensive menu to!

We are new to town, and enjoyed this place for dinner one night. The aesthetic was beautiful, the staff was fast and plenty helpful, the food came out hot, delicious, with prompt service.

I ordered the poblano chicken for lunch today. The spinach and mushrooms were good, and the corn sauce over the chicken had great flavor — but unfortunately, the chicken itself was so dry and overcooked that I could barely cut through it, even with a serrated knife. I ended up tearing off small pieces just to get some protein, but it was extremely salty and only barely edible when mixed with the underseasoned spinach to balance it out.

When I mentioned this to the waiter, he simply made a noise, took the plate away, and brought the full bill — no apology, no offer to replace the meal, nothing. To make matters worse, someone started mopping the floors right next to us with a strong-smelling cleanser, which really didn’t help the appetite.

Between the poor service, the unappetizing meal, and the lack of basic courtesy, I won’t be returning. On the bright side, the person I was dining with did enjoy their food — so maybe I just made the wrong choice that day.
