There was only one lady manning the whole cafe. It was a cold day and despite the large sign on the door, she would have to yell at the customers to close the door behind them. She started talking to us with large headphones on her head – which I didn’t find particularly welcoming. As the store filled up, it took a while for our order to come out. I do appreciate the care with which she made the food and how nicely it was presented. The acai bowls and mochi waffles were really tasty!
They are pricey. $50 for 2 small acai bowls and 1 waffle. They were also out of a few acai bowl ingredients the day I visited.
Overall I’d say the food is great but I doubt I will return. The price isn’t worth the experience.

This place is amazing! I’ve tried a lot cafes in Whatcom county and this is by far my favorite. Hawaiian food has always had a special place in my heart and the pulled pork mochi waffle was to die for. I was so excited I dove in before even thinking about taking a picture. It was the perfect brunch to start my afternoon and I was able to enjoy this beautiful view while dining in.

Such a lovely little spot. The café itself is small, cozy, and full of charm.
The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They took the time to chat with us and make us feel at home.
We played board games while waiting for our order, and after eating, we stayed for about an hour, playing Uno. It was such a refreshing experience. Good food, no screens, and a real connection. We laughed, played games, and just enjoyed being present together as a family.
A perfect place to slow down, enjoy a meal, and make meaningful memories. We’ll definitely be back. A+

Very cute shop, not just food, many useful things. Got a classic waffle with nutella, bananas and strawberries, my family loved it and I thought it was a great nightcap dessert. I also got a coconut thai iced tea. Recommended!

I liked the raspberry chocolate smoothie.
The waffle was a bit weird, but it was good.

What a cute spot! The coffee was fantastic as was the food, we keep talking about the yummy waffle we had! Buy some handmade soaps or candles and enjoy the island feel. Will definitely go back whenever I get to Blaine!

Really great little cafe. Order at the counter and have it delivered to your table. My husband and I should have shared a waffle! Delicious but filling sweet waffle. I appreciated that mochi waffles are naturally gluten-free. My husband had the savory waffle #11 with fig jam, pistachios, arugula and gorgonzola cheese, it was wonderful.

I went here today for the first time, and I was impressed with their menu, my ONLY complaint was they didn’t have the white chocolate powder for the espresso/coffees and this is only because that’s my go to. I did, however, get an americano with cream and caramel sause, and my friend got what they said was their favorite matcha tea they have found anywhere, including all the major franchises. Aloha has good prices, and the fruit and berries were nice and fresh. The presentation of their crafty waffles is beautiful. To top it off, the customer service and feel of the restaurant was absolutely wonderful.

Five stars for Aloha Cafe! Their shave ice is absolutely incredible – light, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. It’s the perfect treat for a sunny day. The owners are wonderful, welcoming people who go out of their way to make you feel right at home. Their warm hospitality adds to the laid-back, island-inspired vibe of the cafe. If you’re looking for a unique and delicious experience in Blaine, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!
