The deli is the only place on the island my friends/family and I go for sandwiches at this point! Everything on the menu is delicious (impressive because there’s such a variety of options). Ingredients are fresh, service is lovely, and the quality of the food is consistently great. The deli never disappoints, and the owners are so generous and kind. We love it here so much!

Call ahead to place a very simple order – one sandwich, no edits. Get to store and tons of confusion on names and orders etc. Get to the beach to find have completely wrong sandwich. Tried to call to get a refund, had to speak to three people, eventually told because I didn’t have my credit card (used phone to pay in store) but had the receipt, I’d need to call back or come in. Not worth the hassle for the cost of a sandwich, but definitely will not be going back. As a loyal customer since they’ve opened, definitely a bummer.

Best hoagie on the island. Stuffed with meat. Priced right. There’s a reason why there are so busy. My favorites are the Italian, Corn Beef Special, and Cheese Steak. Pro tip: order ahead for pick up. Thank me later.

The service is great, they move people in and out. I was originally going to get chicken salad sandwiches from Buds but since they didn’t have it we went to 29th St deli. It was great, I was surprised I didn’t remember it being so good. For people in Avalon, the location is great it’s right near attractions, an easy walk from the beach as well as Hoys.

Decent deli with average quality. The rolls and meat are decent, better than dollar store stuff but not Whole Foods type breads, cheeses or meat. We’re talking a blue collar man’s sandwich. Nothing artisanal or high end quality as far as the hoagie ingredients are concerned. Your best bet may be with one of the chicken choices, they grill that fresh. They also have a nice salad bar with nutritional options for the health conscious.

This place has the best pool hot tub combo w beautiful landscaping and you really feel like you are in a tropical resort. Our room as you can see is amazing, plus our huge TV had the big ten network and other stations you wouldn’t normally get. Free wifi, beach tags included, location location location! We cant wait to come back
