A trip to the Fingerhut Bakery of North Judson, Indiana is like taking a trip back in time. A time when your local neighborhood bakery produced some of the best smells and even better tastes than you can remember. Now you can send some of those great memories to someone special anytime you would like. The Fingerhut Bakery is owned by a family of seventh generation bakers dating back to the late 1700’s in Bohemia. Today you can enjoy many of the same baked delights this family of bakers were serving their customers a hundred years ago. Keith Fingerhut (6th generation) and his sons, Doug and Greg, own the business and still take an active roll in the production of their masterpieces.

BEST DONUTS EVER. We have been all over the world and I will choose their cake donut with chocolate icing every time. The maple donut was also amazing. As was the cheese danish. I absolutely love this place. We drive an hour each way to come get their tasty treats. The prices are SO reasonable, too. We bought 5 donuts, 1 danish, and two prune kolache cookies all for just under $10. Crazy! And, as always, I ate them without taking pictures first. Lol I’ll simply have to go back and get more.

My boyfriend and I wanted to eat at Fingerhut Bakery while we were in North Judson because I had read about the family history behind this place. It looked like it would be a good place to go, not just for sweets and treats, but also for breakfast and lunch. We decided to go for breakfast, and got your classic breakfast combo plates and also a donut each to try something from the bakery. Everything was so good, and our server Mabel was so friendly. In the end we left with a whole box of cookies, had yet another donut, and were surprised to find that a local had paid for our breakfast without us realizing it. From the staff to the locals who were eating there that morning, everyone was so friendly that this place will always be one of our best memories of our time spent in Indiana. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

This place is a good drive for us, but well worth the trip. Everything here is great. One can gain 10 pounds just walking in the place and smelling the freshly baked goods.

My Young Beautiful Bride and I were out for a Saturday morning drive, and we just happened to be traveling through North Judson, Indiana.
We found this little Fingerhut Bakery and thought about stopping in for a visit.
The Young Lady was just the most wonderful, helpful and thoughtful person, you’d ever want to meet.
We bought a few things and snacked on them as we continued our travels.
We will definitely be visiting this place again whenever we are in the neighborhood.

First time eating here and well worth every bite we we there early and ate breakfast the cafe is a little small but the food and service make up for it the atmosphere was laidback, we were treated like we had been going there for yrs , nice friendly people then we walked over to the bakery before we left my wife bought two cream horns and I got a pk of their dinner rolls and we both agreed how good the cream horns and rolls were top quality establishment thank you for you hospitality
