I have placed an order twice to pickup a meal for myself. Both times, even though the app said my food was ready based on what I ordered, it was not ready. I can understand that, but coupled with the lack of friendliness from the ladies who came out of the kitchen to see who I was and then tell me it would be another 5 to 10 minutes, I don’t think I will go in there anymore. I will still order occasionally through one of the food delivery apps (because the food is so good) but I don’t want to deal with the coldness that walk ins get.

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill so much! Used to be good to eat, but the restaurant is so dirty, bathrooms so smelly and food so meh, hair in food, rotten pickles…..unfortunately tonight will be the last time we will be eating here.

Delancy’s is a great spot for lunch. Indoor & outdoor dining. The staff are extremely polite and accommodating. The chicken salad and fruit plate made for a great midday meal. Don’t forget to try there homemade pies & cakes.

Reached out to a friend for a local restaurant referral and this was one of them. Overall foods really good! Service was a little slow, but hey sometimes good food is worth waiting for. The 2 ladies that assisted me were overly kind and they sell local NC restaurant cookbooks! Win win oh and they have homemade desserts.

No gravy for the mashed potatoes. Pot roast with carrots and onions had no carrots and onions and no gravy for the pot roast. Just how. This may be a choice for some. It just was not to my personal food standards. It is a once and done for me.

Wonderful home cooked food. Grilled pork chops and meatloaf were very good. Broccoli casserole, Mac & cheese and fried okra were tasty too! Service was great! We will definitely be back!
