I was waiting for the manager or owner to respond to my wife before writing a review because I wanted to give them a chance to have a dialogue over our issue, but since they never responded I figure it’s time to warn other potential diners. My wife placed a large 15-sandwich order online. I’ve learned in the past to check some details like getting the right chips (for some reason they just put regular chips in and not the ones you specify), little things like that. The fryer was down, so they substituted fries for more chips — ok, not the same thing, but not a deal breaker. Their drink machine was out of the syrup for the drinks that I was sent to get — we pivoted. I took the bag of sandwiches and all my stuff and went on my way. When I got to the group I realized none of the sandwiches were labeled — not a name or a number or any way to identify which was which other than deconstructing each sandwich and hoping we guessed right. This is really unfortunate and such an easy fix on their end. I just hate having to dig through someone else’s food trying to figure out if this is “the one without mustard” or whatever differentiated the sandwiches. But the topper was when we got to the end and realized that we were missing two sandwiches (fortunately the ones for my wife and I and not for our guests). We called the store to rectify this and the guy who was in charge decided to argue with my wife that he definitely made those sandwiches. He may have made them, but they certainly weren’t in our bag. Then he wanted us to gather up all the sandwiches and bring them back so he could check our order (other than the fact that everyone else was eating, I can’t show you the two “not sandwiches” in my bag). This went back and forth for a good 10-15 minutes until he finally agreed to make the sandwiches. When my wife drove back over to get the sandwiches, he refused to acknowledge her. He made the sandwiches in a silent pout then handed them to another employee to give to my wife. She reached out to the store through the proper channels (I think you have to go through their website or corporate) and was told that the owner would be in contact — never happened. I’ve always tried to support Firehouse over other chains, but not after this. There are so many other quality sandwich shops in town. Spend your money at locally-owned restaurants who care about your business and the quality of your food. We all deserve better than this.

This the best sub we have had in a long time! They did that! We will be back and it’s our new favorite firehouse sub. Keep the subs juicy and fresh like that you will always have our service and I stay in Lexington so we will be back!

The French Dip is incredible. Succulent and flavorful, especially with Au Jus . The NY Streamer, also a fave. Amazingly delicious. The French fries are a hit or miss, but when they’re good they’re incredible.

There’s absolutely no reason why management shouldn’t be on the same page…. whomever the young lady is with the dreads needs to have a better attitude, use better judgment when it comes down to issues, and overall have a better disposition.
You have to wait an extremely long time for your order. The app doesn’t work so you have to order through the web. The manager isn’t friendly AT ALL!!!! It makes absolutely no sense to wait over 40 mins for a sub with 3-4 ppl working.. the whole staff attitude was unprofessional. I will NOT come back to this location again. This took up most of my lunch hour!!

The 1 star is for the owner.
Higher more staff these 2 people were over worked. It took them 45 minutes to get the food that we ordered. I felt sorry for those who ordered after us because there wait was over an hour. Either higher more people or turn off moble/call in orders when short staffed.

Ordered for pickup and found 2 hairs in my sandwich (photos attached). I submitted a customer service complaint stating that I wanted someone from Firehouse to contact me about it, and I never heard back from them. I submitted a second request and was left unanswered yet again. Paid $15 for this and didn’t even get to eat it, nor was I offered a refund. I do not recommend

I ordered through uber eats today. My soup was missing and I received a sandwich that wasn’t even what I ordered. Now I’m fighting with uber eats to get a full refund. I am highly disappointed and upset.
Update: You asked me to contact Firehouse through the link and all I was told was that you are sorry and contact uber eats.

My first experience here due to staff was VERY unpleasant. I would never have went back but my boss wanted lunch there today so I went to pick it up. The lady at the counter named Blue completely changed my mind and I would love to come there as long as the staff is like her. Friendly and bright and truly takes care of customers. Thank you for a better experience here!

The sandwiches here are absolutely fantastic! However, the soda from the machine is consistently off—it’s either not getting enough syrup or it’s over-carbonated. I’ve mentioned it to the staff multiple times, and I’ve noticed other guests doing the same, but the issue still hasn’t been resolved. The food is a perfect 10/10, but I’d suggest getting your drink elsewhere.
