We went to Krabbe’s Supper Club for dinner tonight, and the experience started before we even walked in. The place opens at 4:30 PM, we arrived at 4:27, and there was already a line waiting at the door. Always a good sign.
Once inside, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff and given the choice to sit immediately or enjoy a drink at the bar first. We chose the bar and we’re glad we did. Every single bartender was smiling, welcoming, and clearly happy to be there. Their specialty drink menu is huge and genuinely creative.
The owner, Jeannine, was behind the bar as well, helping bartend, greeting guests, chatting with everyone, and talking with every guest. She has this warm, down-to-earth energy that makes you feel like you’re in her home and she’s hosting and cooking for you. It set the tone for the whole night.
We tried the Banana Bread Old Fashioned, which somehow just works, a classic old fashioned with the perfect hint of banana bread flavor. Absolutely delicious. The Espresso Cream Martini leaned more toward a chocolate martini than “cream,” but was still very good. After that, we ordered an Original Rye Whiskey Old Fashioned, diet sweet.
For dinner, we ordered the Signature Stuffed Prime Rib, Broiled Haddock and Tenderloin & Broiled Scallops Combo.
The Stuffed Prime Rib was incredible, packed with onions, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese, cooked to a perfect medium rare, and unbelievably tender. The au jus was more of a thin gravy, but it was delicious and worked beautifully with the dish.
The Broiled Haddock had great seasoning, though the fish was slightly overcooked, making parts of it a bit dry.
The Tenderloin was ordered medium rare and arrived closer to medium well, but I ended up not caring because it was still so tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned, it was fantastic. The scallops, however, were heavily seasoned and unfortunately overcooked, making them a bit tough and rubbery.
We finished with their homemade Peanut Butter Pie, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely worth saving room for.
What truly set this place apart was the people. Our server, Kim, was phenomenal, attentive, warm, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of. And on top of that, every person we encountered, from staff to owner, provided top-notch customer service, all with smiles on their faces and genuine conversation that made you feel like an old friend.
Krabbe’s Supper Club is doing everything right, from the drinks, to the food, to the staff. This is absolutely a must-go place.

The food was good, but not my top-tier. The ribs and french onion were mid-grade, and the brick cheese curds not so good. However, the Creamy Peanut Butter Pie was amazing! For me, not worth the drive nor cost compared to the supper clubs in Calumet County.

Saturday supper club experience was bad. I saw the line to get in and thought wow this place must be good. When inside the establishment there were no seats to be had. However, complete strangers made the wait tolerable and pleasurable. We hope to run into these folks again. Thanks for the laughs. Trying to get a drink was a job and again if it wasn’t for the kind strangers that would’ve been close to impossible. Now, 2 1/2 hours later we are being seated. The salad bar was okay. The French onion soup was good. Bang bang shrimp hard pass. The Duck wontons were alright. The twice baked potato was delicious. The stuffed prime rib and brown gravy was warm at best and the flavor was aweful. The porterhouse was disappointing, thin, no juice, surrounded by rubbery grisel. Krabbe’s was not worth the wait or the money and the total time spent there was 3.25 hours, we will not be back.

Small place. You have to check in at the bar and wait for your waitress to take your order and seat you. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. We waited about 30-45min which was a perfect amount of time to get caught up with a friend I havent seen in awhile. We both ordered the tenderloin combo, one with perch and the other with parmesan crusted haddock. Steaks were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Parmesan haddock was really yummy and Im told the perch was pretty good. The sweat potato fries and twice baked were very good too. Salad bar had only a few options but also plenty enough that you dont overload yourself. Will be back!

Not worth the two hours wait. Do not order any type of fish. We went three times, two weeks ago Tuesday we waited over an hour, a week ago Saturday we waited over 2 hours, ordered steak and perch. Perch were over cooked and the smallest I have ever seen. The tenderloin steak was good. Last night (Thursday) 10/02/25 we waited over 1.5 hours. The fried shrimp was good, the haddock was ok, nothing special my husband ordered the shrimp scampi (three shrimp) and haddock (two small medallions). The shrimp was not edible. The waitress took ten bucks off the bill that was over $100, Gave us a free dessert. Will not go back!

It was a rainy, wet Tuesday night … we decided to go to Krabbe’s Supper Club, just south of Seymour. This was our first time there. It was chilly when we first arrived, but it warmed up with the help of two wonderful bartenders and, of course, a drink or two. We had come early, and the service was very good with a great waitress. It was unusual, but the four of us had seafood with two of us having perch, one having salmon, and the other having lobster.
One of our requirements is that the supper club has a salad bar. Krabbe’s salad bar is small and does not include soup. But we found the salad bar to be adequate. And, yes, soup is extra.
The portions were above average except for the lobster, which was larger than expected.
From the outside, the building looked average, but inside it was clean, modern, and pleasant.
We will be back!

Damn Good food and great friendly folks. This was our 3rd visit. Stuffed prime rib, seafood platter and the ribeye steak were the dishes I’ve had. Everything was awesome. Nice little salad bar. They have beets! When you look at the Wisconsin supper club map there’s a reason they are on it. Highly recommend stopping in. We drove 20 minutes from Howard and it was worth the trip!

Waitress was a little slow, but not a huge deal. She may have had other duties in the kitchen. Food was good, steak was amazing. Atmosphere was very nice and bar staff made us feel very welcome and the owner welcomed us with real appreciation. We’ll definitely come back.

There was a line to get in when doors open at 4:30. We chose to be seated at a table immediately rather than having a drink first. Thank goodness because during our meal the waitress could only bring us one due to the amount of people at the bar. Salad bar was small but good. Some of the best liver pate ever. My husband got the seafood alfredo, he said it was good but could have used more sauce. I got the smothered chicken, it was okay, a bit greasy and heavy, it looked like the onions on it were from the French onion soup. Our waitress was amazing. The homemade baked bread was delicious. The whole experience was good. No complaints.

I’ve lived in Wisconsin my whole life and I’ve been to countless supper clubs across the state. This is by far the Best. The hospitality was unmatched and the owner was so excited about what she could offer, so many options. Everything tasted top tier, the Bearclaw meal was superb. The shrimp tasted as succulent as lobster. Lastly , the homemade andes candy cheesecake was delectable!
Thank you for a wonderful New Year’s Eve.
