Cute cafe & bakery! They had so many options for both drinks and food!! I got a Caramel Oat Milk Cold Brew and YUMMM!! This place has one of the best cold brews I’ve tasted. I also had the Savory Monkey Bread which was also super tasty! I got a regular chocolate chip cookie and a brownie too. Both of them were pretty mediocre, and I likely wouldn’t buy again. As the other reviews mention, this place does seem to be a tad overpriced. The taste does not match the price, but it’s still a really nice cafe. I wouldn’t want that to take away from the employees or the environment because the staff here were some of the kindest baristas I’ve met. Although I came when it was busier, they urged me to take my time and helped me decide what to get. Amazing people. They only offer outdoor seating here and there is nowhere to sit indoors, not even for waiting for your order. This was really disappointing for me. I was hoping to sit down inside and read a nice book on a cozy chair, but realized pretty fast that the metal chairs and the outdoor breeze were the coziest I was gonna get haha. Nothing bad about that, but not quite what I was expecting for a pricey cafe. They also have a lovely mini market inside where a ton of sellers have their items displayed! I loved this because it showed how local this cafe is and how much they care for their community! -Although this was a nice addition, I would sooner recommend replacing them with benches or some sort of seating. Market items could be moved around the corner near the fridge area to utilize the now empty space. Just my input, but this place was truly lovely. I’ll be coming back next summer on a nice sunny day to visit.

I love that they support local have many local treats and gifts available for sale. The owner is wonderful as well and I highly recommend going here. You can also order ahead and they’ll have it ready for you at their pickup area. Support local!

Small and cozy space with seating outside, everyone was so polite and friendly to me which I really appreciated since I did need a moment to look over the menu.
The peaches and cream danish was delicious! Not too sweet with a great balance of flavors and I can definitely tell it was baked fresh just by how flaky and soft it was. I also enjoyed the monkey bread latte. I’ll definitely be back again for sure

Pleasantly surprised! I really liked the monkey bread and savory Danish pastry. Both were fun twists on classic baked items. I hope that innovation spirit continues.
This place is a stones throw away from the hospitals in the area. The restaurant is pretty tiny and has barely any parking, but most patrons just grab and go.
Staff here is super friendly and actually give you helpful suggestions. The wrapping on their box is a little annoying. I can’t cut it with just my fingers and have to use a knife or rip it all off.
Pretty excited to try other items on their menu!

Really lovely place with a great assortment of high quality offerings. My husband who is a coffee snob said this is the best miel he’s ever had, and that’s saying a lot. Really delicious place, highly recommend

Scones were delicious and a unique flavor. Chai tea was very good. Can be very busy and tight on weekends – wish there was a bit more space inside. No indoor seating.

Hard to beat the atmosphere and friendly staff at Honey & Rye Bakehouse on Excelsior Boulevard. Stopped in for the first time after a workout at LA Fitness. The latte, scones and outdoor seating area were superb. Thank you. Until next time!

The best part? Where do I even begin! First, I got a freshly squeezed orange juice, monkey bread, and French toast pastry. The monkey bread was fluffy was so good. We weren’t huge fans of the French toast treat but it was not bad, it just had too much chocolate for our personal liking. Then I decided to get back in line and order more things! The second time, I got the meat quiche and a loaf of sourdough bread. The quiche was delicious. They sell it by the slice or pie… I think I need the whole pie next time. And the loaf didn’t last in our household. In fact, it didn’t last the car ride back home, at least not the majority of it. We ate most of the slices on its own. The staff was sweet as well. So conversational and personable. Did I mention they have shelves full of so many amazing goodies too?! The worst part? Depending on where you’re coming from, it can be a tad tricky to get into the location. We had to go down one street, turn around and then do a u turn to get into the lot… not much of a hassle though. The line was long too but it went by fairly quickly. But honestly, even if I had to drive a long commute or stand in line a long time, I’d still come to this place!
