My husband and I were so happy to find this place open until 11 on a Friday night. We went to a comedy show, downtown, and often find that restaurants in Lexington close at 9 or 10 p.m. Im not sure it is a sustainable model to stay open so late for few people but we were happy they were and more people came in after we did at 10. I ordered the brisket melt, he got a brisket burger. Both were super good. I had a hibiscus margarita on the side and it was so tangy and tasty too. Our server was quick and nice. The decor inside is creative and gives all sorts of conversation starters if you are seated with someone who knows about cars and their inner workings.

Loved the Ford Garage theme! I chose the HOMEMADE MEATLOAF, MASHED POTATOES AND STEAMED BROCCLI. HUBBY CHOSE A BURGER WITH BEER CHEESE AND FRIES. Both meals were delicious! ANGEL was our waitress and she was over the top efficient and super friendly (felt like we made a new friend). Next time I need to try some of the onion rings that the people at the next table had (they looked really good). Can’t wait to come back.

This lively spot was packed on a Saturday. We were advised an hour wait at 4:15 and only had to wait 40 minutes.

We had the pretzles and they were spectacular!

The salmon salad was exceptional and huge. The fresh buttermilk battered chicken tenders were better than many upscale spots and the fries were uncomplicated perfection!

Not just a theme destination but more a great restaurant with fun design.

I would return here to try the burgers as soon as many around us were ordering burgers and the fun onion rings.

The food was great! Our server was Tearany-she was quick, friendly and made our first visit an incredible experience. We ordered the onion rings- they were crispy and delicious with a unique presentation. The Monte Crisco and Patty Melt burger were perfect. The fries and tater tots have a finishing seasoning that is just right and a nice addition. Whatever you do- make sure you visit the bathroom! Great atmosphere and loved that everyone was dressed like a car mechanic. Worth the wait.

Our Burger Club meets once a month to review awesome places. Ford’s garage didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere was fantastic and inviting. Food was absolutely great, great flavors and we didn’t leave hungry
But the best part was our server Lisa, she was so much fun and accommodating. She really made our experience great!

On Saturday, 1-24-26, we stopped for lunch at Ford’s Garage in Lexington, Ky. We were greeted as soon as we entered and immediately seated. As you walk through the restaurant, it is like stepping back in time. You will experience a nostalgic visit to the early days of the automobile. The attention to detail on each vehicle, engine, gas pump, and display creates a unique atmosphere. The napkins are automotive shop rags and the napkins rings a hose clamp. Whether you are a Ford person or not, it’s a great reminder of the American ingenuity and manufacturing that made this country great.
The menu has a great selection of American classics and comfort food. I really liked how you could order a burger and choose a different meat.
(Traditional Beef, Turkey Burger, Grilled or Fried Chicken) The food was fresh, hot, & delicious. The presentation was great and the service excellent. I would highly recommend trying Ford’s Garage. You won’t be disappointed.

Interior photos, along with the American Standard burger in which I selected grilled chicken for the meat are posted with the review.

I’ve been to the Ford’s Garage in Florence, KY, so I was excited when Lexington got one near the mall where Logan’s used to be. The theme is the same—old Ford décor everywhere, including a Model T hanging above the bar. It’s a really fun setup, especially with the classic cars parked out front.

We stopped in after a UK game. It was very busy, but even so, we were seated quickly (just two of us). We started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, which was very good. Their popular appetizer is the giant onion ring stack that comes on a long metal tube shaped like an old-school funnel—we’ve had that in Florence, so this time we wanted to try something different.

I ordered the cheeseburger with fries, and it was excellent. The beef tasted high quality and cooked right. My nephew got the brisket sandwich, and he said it was delicious. It definitely looked the part too—every bite came with a perfect pull of cheese.

Great atmosphere, great food, and great service even when they’re busy. This is my second time dining at a Ford’s Garage, and it definitely won’t be the last. I won’t spoil everything—go check it out and enjoy the experience for yourself.

If you’re a fan of the blue oval or just well themed restaurants, this place has you covered. It’s new, everything is nice and it looks great.

As for the food, I had the high octane burger and some onion rings. The rings were good, the burger was decent, but nothing you can’t find at similar restaurants that offer a fancy burger. It’s good, but nothing that blows you away.

The service was the same. My server was nice, did all the things you would expect, but nothing over the top. This is not a critique or a negative.

It seems like it being new brings some hype. I waited about 40 minutes for a table for a party of one. If you value your time, maybe wait a bit before trying this place.

Place was packed! Luckily we got in with a party of 6 before a wait started. The table turnover seemed quick so I’m sure a wait wouldn’t have been long. The food was so good. We got the Motor City Kettle chips and pretzels. The kettle chips did have a spice kick but delicious. Pretzels were cooked perfectly and the beer cheese dip was perfect pairing. Entrees ordered were burgers, fish n chips, Monte Cristo, and brisket burnt ends melt. The Monte Cristo was amazing! Finished the night off with the funnel fries that tasted just like a county fair funnel cake without the mess.

It was a tad loud but I think it’s like that because we were seated in the open area for larger parties.

All very nice, good food, excellent presentation of the dishes, very original decoration. The atmosphere is good, but for my taste the music is too loud. If the volume is moderate, then you can enjoy the experience more and talk in a more relaxed environment. The attention was excellent. Very attentive to the customer, and that is wonderful!. Congratulations all the best for Ford’s Garage Lexington.
