This is where the locals eat. It’s a small place serving big portions of tasty food. My husband had the 1/2 portion of biscuits/sausage gravy & hash browns, which covered the entire plate. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was tasty with the perfect amount of sausage. I had the eggs, bacon and toast. The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. We also tried the mush since we’d never had any, and it was really good. It reminded me of a McD’s hashbrown (because of the shape), only made of cornmeal instead of potatoes. Really good! Mary was an excellent server and really friendly. Overall a great small town place with great breakfast, service, and prices!

This is one of the greatest little restaurants you’ll ever find! If you want good food and an affordable price this is the place to stop in. The chicken is better than any chicken out of Frankenmuth Michigan, the pie as the wife said was “to die for” and their soups are amazing. If you’re passing through this is the place to eat !The staff is awesome, kind and friendly a throwback to the old days when people were nice. I had a very nice early dinner here one evening, and the food was great. Both the flavor and the prices were wonderful. I had the chicken fried steak, and that came with two sides (I chose broccoli cheese soup and mashed potatoes). It was all very flavorful, and the soup really stood out to me as one of the best versions of that flavor I’ve ever had. I also got apricot pie for dessert. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the whole place felt nice and homey. It may be a bit old fashioned, but that really works here. Sometimes nothing needs to change. I’d definitely recommend Village Inn for a nice casual meal.

A down home Amish restaurant. Great food, great place. Don’t order extra gravy, unless you really love gravy. Because theres always more than enough. The extra is a Bowl full. Might as well get a togo cup.

An Amish Restaurant that takes you back in time. The food is plentiful and very good. I have only had breakfast there. I had the Village Inn Scramble and the Farmer’s Omelette. Both were more than enough to feed a hungry farmer. There’s covered parking for your horse.

I went here for lunch after touring the Jayco facility down the road. I ordered the cheeseburger with hash browns and had the sour cream blueberry pie for dessert. Everything was perfect and the Amish waitress was very friendly.
