This was our one and only time eating at Sali’s. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a friendly young man. He asked if we’d been in before, and then explained that we would place an order at the counter and could sit wherever we’d like. We ordered the fried ravioli appetizer and large cheese pizza. Both were reasonably priced as was their overall menu compared to other similar restaurants. It’s byob so we brought a bottle of wine. The raviolis were good, but the pizza was not. The server was attentive and the booths offered some privacy with their high backs.

I can’t recommend Sali’s enough. We came in for the first time today and had an amazing experience! The food was DELICIOUS. The fresh baked bread was to die for! The calamari was the best id ever had! All around great food and great people. Will certainly be back!

Very impressed with their expansive menu selection. We had lobster raviolis, shrimp parmesan and the salmon special amazingly fresh and favorable. Can’t wait to go back to try even more.

Sal’s Italian in McKinney was excellent! The food was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. I ordered the calzone and it was huge — honestly bigger than I expected. It was stuffed with cheese and ingredients and baked perfectly with a nice golden crust. It tasted amazing, but the portion was so big I couldn’t even finish it.
The service was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food with generous portions, this is definitely the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Sali’s Italian is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Texas. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and beautifully balanced, and the pizza rivals anything you’d find in Italy. The food tastes like it’s made straight from the heart .The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing take-out, Sali’s Italian delivers perfection every time.

I don’t typically rate restaurants with a CONFIDENT 5 star rating but the atmosphere of this one is beyond incredible. The owner and the staff are incredibly friendly and genuine, the food is authentic italian with a new yorker twist. The prices are typical of a lunch/dinner joint and overall i’d say the meals were prepped as though someone gave their soul into them. For the price, prepare to have your stomach filled for sure.

Outstanding Italian restaurant experience. I brought my family here on a Sunday afternoon. We were delightfully satisfied with all aspects of our dining experience. Oz is the owner and he attended to us and gave us his family restaurant history. Proud to say that their 40 years of experience helped us to enjoy every part of our conversation and the food as well.
I ordered the seafood and linguini. My kids and wife had the two huge pizzas. Oz gave my wife the last square of Tiramissou and it was delicious.
Overall my family was well fed and we now have a friend in Oz and his family restaurant. He also introduced us to his cooks who have been with him for years. Oz gave my kids pizza dough to play with while we waited and my kids loved it.
The price of the meal was also very affordable and met my expectations for feeding a family of 7.
Bring your family to Salis Italian and you will not be disappointed!! We will definitely return next time we are in McKinney!

We’ve lived in McKinney for many years, and have been loyal customers of a small Italian restaurant that unfortunately closed recently and changed to a different format. We found ourselves with the unfortunate task of trying to find a replacement. Well luckily we discovered Sali’s and have been blown away by this find. The food has been consistently excellent, and we’ve tried numerous dishes here (pizza, chicken parm, stromboli, calzone, chicken pesto, lasagna, chicken marsala, and the list goes on). We’ve also sampled a fair number of desserts, and none of them disappoints. I think they are all made on-site, and the tiramisu is our favorite. Additionally, the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. One of the best things about our new find is the people who own and work at Sali’s…they are amazing. Every time I walk in, either Oz or Kiana gives me a huge welcome (I feel like Norm on Cheers!). They are super friendly people and know how to take care of their customers. My daughter needed some food for a dinner party she was attending, so I asked Oz if he could put something together, and he said of course. When my daughter’s friend went to pick-up the food, she was blown away by their friendliness. I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture…food is excellent, prices are great and people are unbelievable.

We tried this place after church with a group from church. It is amazingly good. So fresh and delicious. Big portions, and the owner and workers go above and beyond to make you feel at home and comfortable. The desserts were amazing! We tried the tiramisu, and some kind of lemon cake? I could have eaten the whole cake. It was just sweet enough definitely recommended and we will be back!
