Bruce’s pizza is a must if you visit Muncie! The pizza is absolutely amazing! He is super friendly and makes phenomenal pizza. Can’t wait to try his deep dish pizza. Keep doing what you’re doing Bruce because it’s so good! We ordered a pepperoni and sausage, we also ordered a sausage, pepperoni, onion, green pepper, and banana peppers and they were both fabulous.

Never tried Bruce’s Detroit style pizza, but I had heard good things. It definately lived up to the hype. The crust was good, but that sauce was next level. You can only get this style Friday and Saturday and it takes about 45 minutes to make, so you’d definately want to call ahead…or have a few pints from their extensive beer selection. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks Bruce!

My night was fine besides the fact I was briefly laying on my side in a booth and was told by a random person drinking at a table told me I needed to sit up. I proceeded to ask him if he worked here (as I noticed him drinking w/ other people in a booth) and he said yes he was the night manager and proceeds to pour a tap drink into a glass. I’m not one to complain typically, however many witnesses to him drinking while on the job seems pretty bold to enter “manager mode” and ask me to sit up. This is besides the fact that earlier a bar tender attempted for me to open a tab after the fact I did not want to. Due to their machine forcing employee’s to manually enter a card number every time. I genuinely did not know if I was going to order another or not but by the need of the night I left w/o ordering more than my original drink. Seemed like “open a tab out of pity” to how I experienced the whole situation for never being here.

Great bar with knowledgeable bartenders that can craft a perfect drink or recommend the right beer. The pizza is is pretty good but sales out fast. If you are in Muncie I would highly recommend this place.

My pal and I ended up here for a late dinner and a few drinks, and we were blown away by this place.
First off, Bruce’s pizza was incredible, and an experience like nothing we’d ever had before. Initially we wanted to try the detroit style, but it was sold old (so arrive here earlier than 8:40 on a friday if you want that!), so we tried the thin-crust instead. While we waited for that to come out of the oven, we found a quiet table in the back and got some beers.
The bartenders were nice, and the atmophere of the bar was friendly and lively. I love that they leaned into the mythos and vibe of the mead hall after which they’re named; I kept staring in awe at the large dragon sculpture along one wall. There was a good mix of young and old patrons, many of whom I got the feeling are regulars. The main room was a bit too loud, but the back room by the claw machines and bathrooms was quieter and more the pace we were wanting that night. We felt both seclulded but also not completely isolated from the bustle of the main dining room. The drink selection here is extensive, and I’m excited to come back some time and try a few more kinds.
Now for the pizza: Wow. Just wow. The crust was incredibly thin, almost like a cracker, and the flavors and seasoning really popped. You could taste such depth of flavor in every bite.
