Amazing cheesesteaks. They’re not the typical Philly cheesesteak; they’re, like, a cheesesteak with its pinky up, but in a totally good way.
So much meat and cheese. Definitely a meal for 2 people (or lunch and dinner).
The service was fast and fresh and kind. I wasn’t sure what to order, so I asked if they’d make whatever is the most popular. I ended up with a Sanatoga and my friend has a chicken cheesesteak. Both were chef’s kiss.
Will definitely come back

Wanted to check this place out as I’ve heard good things and it’s newer to the area.

Ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions and cooper sharp which is my go-to anytime ordering a steak really.

Easy ordering process, they have a walk-up window. There are some areas outside in the lot to sit and eat as well.

The steak was incredible. Seeded roll with the cheese and onions mixed into the steak. It was delicious and flavorful. Almost a sweet and smokiness to it. Well balanced also with the roll holding form. Each bite was great. Just amazing

Definitely one of the best steaks around.

There was no skimping on the fresh ribeye, nor Cooper and grilled onions. The onions provided most of the seasoning.

Cards only. You order at a small window. There are no condiments, cutlery or napkins. Maybe if you ask?

There are a couple of picnic tables next to the parking lot. I went at 2:30 and there were a few parking spots.

I guess the steak would travel OK (the roll is tender and chewy, but not crunchy. Hand cut fries were crispy and not greasy, but would steam in the box during a short ride.

A welcome addition to the area, but I’m not giving up Johnny’s Pizza.

Tried Gazzo’s for the first time today. We had cheesesteaks and fresh cut fries. I had cooper sharp with fried onions on the side. The cheese was mixed throughout, the steak was chopped just right, the fried onions were slightly caramelized and flavorful, and the roll was really good. Thankfully there are a couple of picnic tables to eat there. We met the owner, Mike. He was very friendly and gave great service. Thankful to have a great cheesesteak place close to home. We will be going back and bringing friends. Next time I may get the chicken cutlet sandwich and a cheesesteak.

Saying hello to our new neighbors Gazzos Steaks. We even got a little tour of the ole Pepper’s Cafe. Owner is super cool , service was quick , and cheesesteaks are very good !! Looks like The Rusty Nail Live Music Venue (The Nail) has a new place to send our music fans too !!

I’ve been to their first location a few times and this second spot didn’t disappoint. As of now they don’t carry the full menu from the main store, but the cheesesteak I got was just as good as Pottstown location. Service was super friendly as well and I got it quickly, even right at lunch time.

After hearing about Gazzo’s opening in Ardmore for about a year I was excited to see if it lived up to the hype. This review is based on opening day so things may change. The owners were there working and were very friendly. There was no line and the cooked to order sandwiches took about 10-15 minutes, which was communicated upfront.
We ate there as there are two picnic tables with umbrellas next to the building. Parking is tight, maybe 8 spots. It is right on Haverford Road and I’m not sure what your parking options would be if the lot is full. Mostly parking in another business’ lot and hoping for the best I guess. Mostly geared to takeout so there is no atmosphere so to speak.
I had the Sanatoga($18). It was good sized and had a good meat to cheese ratio. It came with a seeded bun. Not sure if plain is an option as I was not asked to choose. Bun was good. Smoked cheese was flavorful but a $2 up charge over regular cooper seemed a tad high. Good amount of meat but I found it sliced a bit too thick for my taste. Our group felt this made it a little tougher than you would expect from 100% rib eye. Small cheese fries ($6) were average. Fries were thin and somewhat caved in. Plenty of cheese though.
All in all a nice debut but still has a ways to go to top Johnny’s in Bryn Mawr.

This was my first visit to either location and relished the steak. I loved the spicy Cooper Sharp, had American whiz fries and a bottle. The price was outrageous of $33 for a steak, fries and drink so would probably rethink a visit to this joint. The fries were way too skinny and generally lacked flavor..You can go to nearby Johnny’s for a steak, cheese fries and bottle for $23 with a seeded roll. The atmosphere was horrible because you can’t eat inside and noticed most people were getting their orders to go. They have a couple of picnic tables and that’s it and the weather was cold and windy so it wasn’t conducive to outdoor dining.

I might come back in 6-7 months but won’t be in any hurry.

Great addition to the area. I had the Sanatoga with smoked copper sharp wiz & onions. I’m a Johnny’s loyalist but I’d argue that this is one of the best in the philly burbs.
