Manager was helpful when ordering to try and create a kids combo for us. Seemed like he was trying hard to help.
When our food came, my son’s grilled cheese was nearly inedible. It was mostly burnt, black and hard as a rock. My wife asked the same manager for a new one, and he said that’s all they all come out and that no one has ever complained. You could only eat about 1/3 of it. Offering no refund and no remake, I then went up to the counter and the same manager argued with me as well. He eventually said he would remake it but said it would not be melted. I said that was fine.
He brought the new sandwich out amd the cheese was not melted, which was fine since he said that is how it would be. However, the edges of the sandwich were still burnt and black. I didn’t mess with it again. If you (or your clearly defective toasting device) can’t make a grilled cheese, I won’t be returning. I also won’t return while this manager is there, defending a black grilled cheese. Ridiculous.

I love how Firehouse donates to the charities of local first responders.
This location was the cleanest sub sandwich / deli I have ever been too. This is my favorite sandwich shop, the warm meat, combination of bread and cheese ROCKS . The condiments are two step above Subways, Jimmy John’s, and Goodcents. Plus they are less expensive than the other sub shops.
The only problem with the place was that they could put a little more meat on the sandwich.

Seriously, one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life!!! I had the New York steamer which is pastrami and corn beef, and added pickles, banana peppers, olives, bell peppers, and onion. Everyone was very friendly, helpful with the menu, and attentive, following up to see how I liked it. Really lovely experience for what I thought would just be a simple lunch.

Service is good! Sandwiches are good! Value is good! But, don’t order a salad. I’ve ordered salads and the lettuce is always rotten. Today is the last time I’ll order a salad from any Firehouse Sub.

The man who took my order seemed very unamused and like he was in a very grumpy mood. I believe he had on a mask. After he finished taking my order he had the same attitude with the rest of the staff. Keep in mind they seem to be highschool kids. Firehouse needs to put more thought into who they are hiring. Food was very good and came out in O.K time.
