Every other kfc i’ve gone to has had amazing food, terrible biscuits. Ironically, this place had terrible food, but an amazing biscuit.

08/04/ Ok so I ordered online. Got the chicken and tenders feast, and the free 8 tenders bucket. Get home and find I’m missing the 6 pc. tenders portion of the feast. My son (who is intellectualy delayed) and tries to articulate himsel, calls to complain and the employee calls my son a liar and hangs up on him.
My wife calls back and asks to speak to manager. Employee responds that “Im the manager”, but didn’t really want to provide her name, but eventually did. Aida (sic) admitted she called my son a liar, half assed apologized for calling him a liar and said they would only replace the 6 missing tenders. Then as my wife was also complaining about the rest of the quality the manager promptly hung up on my wife.
Well here’s your mistake…. corporate WILL be called tomorrow. My review is here for all to see.
This restaurant has gone down hill so bad the last few years. Place is a joke. Service is lousy. Quality of food is lousy. Best advice I can give is either go up to Wally World, Food City or Bojangles and get your dinner, but stay away from here.
I’m deleting my KFC app and will never give KFC my business. Further more, I intend to find the owner of this franchise and find out any other businesses they own here in town and boycott those as well.
I WILL NOT tolerate such disrespectful service towards my son or my wife like I received tonight.

We ordered a 12-piece bucket with sides – fries, mashed potatoes, and Cole slaw. Unfortunately, the chicken was inedible, with a thick, old, and unpleasant breading, akin to biting into crackers with a bitter fishy aftertaste. Even the fries and biscuits were subpar, the latter being gummy. Despite the high cost, my kids and I could only manage two bites each (Idid eat a whole drumstick, I mean I paid for this) due to nausea. We didn’t even open the mashed potatoes or cole slaw. As a single mom of two, our “treat” night turned into a disappointing disaster.
This wasn’t even a matter of old cooked food, it was rancid.

Watched employees taking out trash, then a car drove off infront of us. We got to the speaker and they said they wanted us to hold on twice. Also out of food apparently when they finally took our order after 8 minutes of being in the drive-thru. Also that it would take 17 minutes to make what we wanted.

This was my first visit to this location, but compared to other KFC locations, it was the best. I placed an online order and arrived before the pickup time. I was immediately greeted when I came into the restaurant but told the food wasn’t ready yet (no big deal as I was early and I wasn’t in a hurry anyways). The lady apologized and seemed a bit worried I had to wait, but I reassured her there was no rush. When I got home with the food, it was perfect-the order was correct, the food was hot and fresh, and the side containers were actually filled (as other locations only like to fill them halfway). I would return to this location and would recommend it to anyone else. The only reason I ranked as 4 stars instead of 5, is that employees feel understaffed and seem stressed as well as I noticed Christmas decorations as well as fall decorations were still up, which brings questions and concerns to mind.

I understand prices have went up about everywhere. An 8 piece meal has added more than 1/2 half of its original price. Also I got a cup of ice water that most either give you or maybe charge for the empty cup. A cup of ice water at KFC was one dollar and tax.Im thinking there are to many restaurants in Galax than to pay right at 35 dollars for an 8 piece meal and a cup of water.
