I love their food! Great soul food! They have a nice menu and it is reasonably priced. I have tried their rib tips, greens, mac and cheese, pizza puffs, and a few of their deserts. I have never had a bad meal from here. The sauce that is used on the ribs is so good. They also offer catering. I have have had them cater food for a Superbowl party that I had at home. My guest loved it. I didn’t have to worry about putting left overs away because there wasn’t anything left.

Sunday Dinner
For 2 weeks in a row on Sunday we’ve gotten dinners , a family of 4 so we all get something different. Overall the food was delicious both weeks however this week we were rather disappointed. My husband and I got the turkey wing part, it was delicious but Big Daddy the drum portion was the size of a chicken drumsticks. I would suggest if the turkey portions are that small then give the whole wing??? The dinners aren’t cheap and we don’t mind the price but at least take my suggestion under consideration. Would I recommend, yes and will be back, but just be fair.

A great little gem tucked on a side street in Hessville. I saw their ad on Facebook and headed there for dinner. Honestly, the rib tips rock ! I got them dry and added my sauce individually so I could enjoy the smoky taste of tender, juicy pork…it comes with fries and a slice of bread for only eight bucks. I had Mac and cheese as a side, and it was baked perfectly…I can’t wait to go back and try the ribs…a must stop if you love smokehouse food..

Really good, I had 3 orders and they all still came out in good timing. I don’t eat pork but I do enjoy their chicken. The Turkey tip kinda tastes like cut up hot dogs, DONT GET IT!! As far as sides I’m use to home made baked mac n cheese, I didn’t like theirs. Too commercial! The other sides were really good though.

Their baby back ribs and rib tips are amazing. Their collard greens were way too salty, we couldn’t even eat it. The turkey tips were season just right but it was too dry and hard. The turkey Polish tasted kinda strange. Almost like the meat was too old.

I was in there yesterday and I must say that the taste of the food especially the BBQ has gotten bad. I heard he has outsourced his BBQ sauce to be made in quantity and the quality has suffered from it. I ordered the half chicken with sauce and it was horrible. I also ordered the regular tips and they were not really hot and the sauce tasted more like pineapple sauce instead of BBQ sauce. He needs to get back to the basics of cooking real good food. I hate to say it but I think anyone with a grill can do better that Big Daddy’s. I hope they listen to their customers and make some changes.

This place used to have a nice flavor but they have really lost their touch with seasoning and their customers. No longer a returning customer. Shame cause we didn’t mind the long wait but not for flavorless food. My order of babyback ribs were not babyback and the rib tips were full of fat and bone. They used to have more meat. Too costly for the flavor, service and quality. Two thumbs down!!
